We've been wanting a way to have our pictures displayed while saving space in our living room. This picture frame has worked well to solve that and looks great with the RGB light in the back.It was easy to put the pictures in and setup was no problem. We're very happy with it.

Still working with it. Wish it would have come with a remote as well but so far so good no problems. 😊

For a long time I've had it in the back of my mind that I should pick up something like this as a way to actually see some of the kajillion photos I've taken over the years... and continue to take. But then I also found myself helping to pull together a memorial and the idea of picking and choosing and then printing loads of photos to display on easels seemed both way too restrictive and too time consuming. So when the DWQOO digital frame came along, the timing couldn't have been better: it did exactly what I needed it to do.As one would hope, the physical setup is dead simple: screw in the little support leg (which allows you to prop the frame up either horizontally or vertically), and plug it in. Done! Dare I say, the support leg seems to be a potential weak point - it's a long plastic screw-in piece, so if you happened to knock something into the frame it surely has the potential to get broken? Let's hope that never happens. And because it needs power, you might find it lives on a countertop rather than on a bookshelf... and on a countertop there's more chance that it's closer to day-to-day action. The digital setup isn't much more involved than the physical setup either: when you power it on it prompts you to join a wifi network and, well, that's the setup work done! Although, you will probably want to set the time zone, and a few options like whether you want to display the weather on the screen. For loading photos, the easiest method is to use the free Frameo app... assuming your photos are on your mobile device. You can get the frame to show a QR code that first directs you to download the app, then when in the app the same QR code is your key to gaining permission to send photos to the frame. The free version of the app allows uploading up to 10 photos at a time. (I have no idea if the paid version has a limit; I haven't found the limitation problematic so far.)You can also insert an SD card (I haven't tried that yet), or connect a computer via USB. In either case, you'll need to go into the settings to enable either option. Copying photos from a computer via USB is very much like seeing an iPhone on your PC.With photos loaded, you can choose how they may be cropped (as necessary) or shown without cropping. When viewing photos, you can also change the setting photo-by-photo. I have them set to show full screen (cropped) because I like that better for landscape photos (my frame is oriented landscape), but for the few portrait oriented photos I upload I can touch the screen and prevent cropping them. When you do this, it uses a heavily blurred version of the image as a background instead of black bars top/bottom or left/right.Internal storage is only 32GB which hasn't been a problem yet but probably will be limiting for me before too long, so adding an SD card is an important feature for me. If you're slightly nerdy and have the time, you could also make sure to upload image files that match the 1280x800 resolution and/or use optimized compression. (Granted, that could be time consuming.)The image quality and brightness is excellent, whether the lights or off or there's loads of natural light streaming in - it's subtly impressive in that regard.Overall, I'm very pleased... especially because finally all those memories we captured are being enjoyed! Highly recommended.

This frame was easy to connect to my Wifi, download the App (Frameo) and load pictures and short videos to the frame. I named my frame and added it as a friend and then I was able to send pictures to the frame through my App. If you have friend and family with the same frame, or at least a frame that uses the same app you can share photos with them. This could really be fun or not. So, if not fun, you can hide the photos you don't like that get sent to your frame, or just delete them.Sending photos to the frame is very easy through the app. You can select 10 at a time and you have the option to add a caption. This is a nice feature if you are sending your photos to someone else'sframe. I don't love that feature for sending pictures to my own frame. It also displays the user and date when the photo was sent. Again I don't love that feature for sending photos to my own frame, but I can see that this would be great if you are sending or receiving photos to/from someone else. You can also sent 15 second videos to the frame from the app. If you would like to have longer videos displayed on the frame you need to use a SD card or mini memory stick. I have not tried that.A lot of settings are controlled right on the frame, for example the time and temperature. I don't love that at all, but through the display controls you have the option to remove the time, temperature and captions from frame. I really like that feature as I just like to see the picture. The brightness of the display is also controlled on the frame. The settings that came from the factory made the pictures look a little washed out, but increasing the brightness brought it back to life.I am so impressed with this frame, it is so easy to display your pictures and see your memories. I have some new photos and some old photos and I love that I can see them in one device. I can't think of a better way to display photos, as to display a large number of photos would take up a lot of wall space, or a lot of space on furniture. This is one frame that can display, not only pictures, but short videos and I have the option to change those whenever I wish and it takes up a small amount of space in the living room. This frame is also a great gift and especially for family and loved ones. Everyone can share photos together. I have loved sending photos to the frame when I am out for my family at home. It is really fun to be able to share a moment with others just as it is happening. The price is reasonable at about $100 at the time of order. This is a good gift for yourself, or someone else. I am going to need quite a few of these frames. This is an excellent product.
