Slow interface, and freezes at random times when playing. Has done this since new. A complete waste of the money paid. Put your $$ toward something of better quality, DO NOT buy this.

Fully featured and works as described. I have a bunch of h264 MP4s on USB and this unit played them without problem. I had tried another player that was $20 more and it would not play h264 -- i had to convert any MP4s I wanted to view using mpeg4 codec. Not a huge problem but certainly an inconvenience. So nice, I got a second one so I'd have a spare.

Been trying to watch some of my xvid files and my Roku had no way to play them from a usb stick. This works just like another device I had years ago. It is compact and easy to setup. Only change on the tv, I had to specify HDMI for source of audio. It worked fine after that.

Very cheap. I returned it because of the build quality. The AC plug didn't fit all the way into the device.
