Does not work. Keeps saying battery is full even when dead. Tested batteries and they are reading 9 volts and still says it's full and won't charge. Only 2 months old.Customer Care were extremely helpful. They asked me to try a few things to test the product. Once we determined there was an issue they sent a new charger for free and arrived within days.

I really like the versatility of this charger. With adjustable settings ranging from 2 to 25 amps, it works perfectly with both 12V and 24V batteries and is compatible with a wide range of battery types. One of its best features is its fully automatic operation. It includes a multi-stage charging process, ensuring that my batteries receive the optimal charge and maintenance without any guesswork. Another bonus is that it can also be used as a jump starter, which comes in handy in emergencies. The build quality is decent, though I do think the clamps could be improved. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient charger that offers great functionality and ease of use.

Works as intended so far for my agm 12v battery. Haven't tried the life4po battery yet. Hasn't caught on fire or malfunctioned yet. Time will tell. Update its been a month and it's still doing great finally got to try the lifepo4 charging and it does a good job. Happy with the purchase

So far I really like this charger. I have used it on my personal truck. As well as a twenty four volt system at the ski hill, I volunteer at. And it has worked perfectly every time. The auto detect feature is nice and makes the switch very fast. The clamps aren't as big as I would like but they are durable and haven't given me any problem so far and the wiring for the clamps seems very durable as well. I really like the wire containment system of the unit as it keeps it all nice and neat when not in use. We've had a series of cold nights up here in northwestern ontario so i've had a chance to test it out in the cold weather on the trickle charge, and it has worked very well. It quickly brings the battery up to full charge. And i've left it overnight to maintain it.The battery in my daughter's car is getting a bit old and on one particularly cold morning. She was struggling with starting her car.So I got to test the boost function. It was easy to find the setting on the unit, and it easily provided the power she needed to get her going. Quite impressive for a mid size unit.I do like the added metal to the body.As it adds some durability. All in all I have to say I really like this battery charger. As it works efficiently, and it is easy to use. And you can keep the cables tangle free when it's in storage.

This charger has been a solid addition to my garage setup. I love that you can adjust the current super handy for charging everything from my car battery to a smaller deep-cycle one. The engine start booster is a lifesaver in winter, especially when the cold zaps my car battery. It’s also nice that it’s portable, with a sturdy handle and a place to wrap up the cords. That said, there are a couple of things I didn’t love. The repair function works okay for slightly neglected batteries, but don’t expect it to bring a totally dead one back to life. The alligator clips feel a bit flimsy, and I wish they were a little more durable.Overall, it’s a decent charger for the price and has already saved me from a dead battery emergency. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done!

This charger is priced higher than basic "slow chargers" but is definitely worth it. If you have multiple cars, a 4-wheeler, a snowmobile, a scooter and/or other gas-powered engines that need a battery to start, this thing is perfect. I had a battery completely drained on my 4-wheeler, tried to charge it with my old 1.8 Amp slow charger, it wouldn't charge it and the "bad battery" indicator would light up. I plugged this charger, did a repair cycle and then an automatic charge... guess what? Battery's up and running! The red part is made of metal, there's a fan to keep it from overheating, and it seems sturdy. There are 2 plastic overhangs so you can attach the clips, it really helps for storage! (See the last image on the product description)

This battery charger works great but you really need to know what battery composition and what voltage your battery is before hooking this up. A lot of battery chargers on the market today are smart chargers and do all that thinking for you. This is definitely not a plug and play type set up for charging a battery. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The overall build quality is really good.
