Installed yesterday in my 1998 Ram 2500. The OEM light was leaking at the gasket and full of water which was making it's way into the cab. The new light was a perfect fit. The gasket provided was much thicker. Because of the thinkness it holds the light a bit away from the body at the top even when screwed down (see pic) so I went ahead and added some silicone along the top and the sites of the new light as a precaution. Hopefully, the leak is fixed. Note: the gasket is VERY sticky on the side you mount to the light so take care installing so that it doesn't stick to parts of the light you don't want it to. It's hard to remove and reposition.The light itself is average brightness for the cargo lamps and I think the brake light is pretty good. Just plug and play with the connector. Seems well built

The light I purchased does not work either for the break or the cargo. I plugged my old one back in and everything works fine with it.

Works good. Didnât come with instructions but I could see how certain people may need them. Have a 16â Ram 2500 Cummins and I did have to cut the little stubs off the back for it to fit properly but it took less than a minute with a sharp blade. Stopped my leaking problems in the cab. Looks sharp too.

I added a few pics. Nice and bright, and Iâm happy with these lights.It works as it should. I have an 04 2500. there are a few post on here about the utility light staying on very dim. I only installed it today on 9/5/24. I am not seeing any lights staying on. I think maybe they updated it with a resister. Because in the pic ,I don't see the resister. If anything changes, I will give an update.. The only thing i would say they could change , is at the top, it seems to have more curve than it should, which is not much. that's why I bought the two pack weather strip for it . they are a tad thicker than the one that comes with it. I read the other post ,that talked about the top gap in the center. So, I went ahead and got both at the same time. I don't want to have to deal with any leaks.. I hope this will help you out with your decision . It is a really nice light, and I am very pleased with this purchase. The price is decent as well.

Opened the box and I first noticed that it didnât come with a new gasket, no big deal, I removed the original, 2 screws, 1 plug, then I plugged the new one in and nothing worked. No break light, zero cab light, nothing.. This was supposed to be an easy peasy job but nooooo Margo, it never is. And because Iâve been so busy, my chance to return the product has expired.. Oh, and itâs not a fuse or wiring, the old one still works, itâs just very old and dull..

Wires are in the wrong holes and will blow breaklighr fuse if plugged in, my light had the wires put in incorrectly and didnât work until I put the right wires into the plugs, after that it works pretty decent

Bought it as my cargo lights and third brake light was not working and faded over. Easy install. Seems to be very good quality and super bright. It does come with the seal but I also added a little but of 100% silicone once tightened done to help seal even more. Looks really good aswell. Buy it.

This light looks good only issue I had during installation ... there are 2 plastic pegs that did not line up with the hole location on the truck... I broke them off and the light fit perfectly... time will tell If I have leaks or not... sharp looking light compared to the original.

For the time being it is fixed but not a perfect fit .. the rear down end wont fit. Have to put the stock lights again this will not make a tight seal from water and dust getting inside.

The light will work .you need to make sure the gasket is installed perfick on the light or it may leak . You need to use sealant on the top edge of the light to insure no leaks . the light needs to be rework to fit the back the cab better
