My goal was a good home security camera system. But I had no desire to sign up for another subscription. Although this system definitely strives to get you to sign up for their cloud monthly subscription, it still works well without. 3 TB hard drive gives me about 60 days of recording with 4 cameras. The mobile app is good. The cameras are good. The price is great for value. I’m happy. The one thing that drove me crazy was I could not get the nvr to detect the hard drive. Dumb on my part, but the plugs for the cameras look exactly like the one for the nvr. The one for the nvr has a small sticker on the cable. Didn’t even see it. Use that one for the nvr. It’s a 2amp power cable which is needed to run the hard drive.

Fantastic security system. Very easy to set up. Just put the Camras close to the box and boom it's online. Quality of the video is very very good. Definitely would recommend

So far so good. Just got this last week and have not yet finished putting it up yet. I can say it has good picture quality and night vision is excellent. So far we are pleased with it. We have already had to sweep down a spider and his web from the front of one camera. I will report back here if I have any issues with it.

DVR Recording device stop working after 5 months.I cannot find out from anyone if it has any warranty this is the second kit of cameras and DVR I have purchased

Though Esee cloud skill available on Alexa, it doesn't show video footage or alerts, which is disappointing. Not able to set motion detection Zone. Also trying to power with PoE cable fails. Customer support is pathetic.

I am so impressed with these cameras! The pictures are clear and I love that the cameras rotate to follow activity. One of our cameras stopped working after a heavy rain. I contacted them and received a replacement in just a couple days with no hassles. If you have 140 pound Great Danes (like we do), the cameras will think they are people! I highly recommend this system!

Works well! Takes a minute to figure it out but once setup it's all good! Recently had to contact their customer service for a minor issue which with their fast and detailed response we were able to solve! (4th camera not showing in the picture is a me problem 😅)

Cheap quality overall! There is no hood over lens area so when rain streams down over camera you dont see much. 5x optical zoom is pretty poor and loses image quality very quick compared to my other cameras. Alarm detection is very poor - a bug flying past will trigger an alarm while a car driving by just a bit further away doesnt.

SOFTWARE/CONFIGURATION:The software is confusing. Poor grammar aside, it's just not at all intuitive. There are a couple of pitfalls.1. The application has no "Forgot Password" facility. So you'll need to create an account and password. Do NOT lose your password or you'll be making another account :)2. You must use their software to get it on the wireless network and configure it. You may choose between "Remote" and "Local". Remote allows you to view it within the application and configure it. It assigns it's own password but you can change it via a menu item."Local" allows you to set a password for the device upfront but will not allow you to view or modify the device's settings. So Im not sure what This mode is intended for.UPDATE: if you use IOS software, it’s still confusing, but it works. I found a menu item for setting the password of the camera. I now have it working with my Amcrest NVR using ONVIF and it’s flawless.BUILD QUALITY:Seems like a fairly solid build but my unit came with a screw loose. Something was rattling around in there. I opened the hatch for the sd card and shook the unit until a little Phillips panhead screw popped out. Quality control may be lacking.VIDEO QUALITY:It really doesn't look very good given the resolution is supposedly suports. My Amcrest camera's look much better and with more detail at half the resolution this one supports. Not sure what's going on there. This was observing live feeds, maybe playback looks better?You can only choose between SD and HD, that's it. You cannot adjust frame rate or anything else. Not a lot knobs to turn here.TRACKING:I thought the PTZ tracking, human detection, and motion detection were outstanding! Too bad I can't have those features with my NVR.VALUE:It's very inexpensive given all the capabilities. Once you get past the goofy software used to configure it, it’s a sweet deal for the money. I purchase another one. The fact that it tracks so well would be very disconcerting to would-be thieves or burglars. If this camera had better software support, it would be an amazing deal!
