We went away for almost a month. I have a large yard with lots of flower pots. Our house sitter only had to add water once week rather than everyday watering. When I came home my flowers looked better than ever. They were so huge that you could hardly see the bottles. Very happy with this product. I will continue to use and do recommend. Purchased the recommended matching plastic wine bottles.

I have always struggled with keeping my indoor plants watered just right. I accidentally water too frequently and make a fungus gnat farm, or I water too scarcely and I end up with spider mites making themselves at home.Since using these I haven't had any of my usual troubles with either of these pests and my plants have been seemingly better hydrated.

I love this product, I've bought it twice to cover all the pots in my yard. It's thicker terra cotta, so although still delicate, is a higher quality product. It's also hexagonal in shape so it's easier to "screw" into the soil rather than just push. It came with a card to say my purchase supported a small business, too :)

I bought these as as an experiment because I was constantly watering my planters in my courtyard during the hottest June ever. I needed a far better system as I was using far too much water. After researching Olla’s it seemed a great option.Robust packaging so all the spikes were in tact. I did soak the spikes first, they did soak up a lot of water. I tried different bottles, as photos show, the plastic bottles just collapsed under the weight, Prosseco bottles were good, but long neck wine bottles fit better as they seal the water in better and doesn’t allow any evaporation. Buried each spike with just the neck at the soil surface. After a week away I was a little worried I come back to dead plants. Shouldn’t have worried at all, everything is alive. Prosseco bottles were empty but plants were all alive, the wine bottles still had water in them. Perfect solution to a warmer climate and using less water. Only downside, I wish I’d bought more. Have encouraged friends to consider Olla’s as a watering alternative.

These Spikes are well-made and the Manufacturer's Packaging is Top-Drawer! Product arrived, no Breakage and I Handled / Installed exactly as Instructed. Yes, I can go away for three or four days, with bothering someone to Water my Plants. I also like, due to length of the Spikes, that Water is released into the Soil near the bottom of the Planters; this forces the Roots lower and adds stability for growth. Yes, I have a 'Moisture Meter', but I still have a penchant to overwater. With these beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, and functional Terracotta Spikes allow the Plants / Soil to draw as needed. Even in just two weeks, my Plants look better and noticeable new Growth too...
