I mounted the camera in the back window of my jeep so that I can use it as a backup camera and it's great for that. I just keep the screen in my center console and pull it out when I need it.

Great idea, bad execution. It is almost 2025, There is no need to run cables back and forth to make this work. Unfortunately a big no for me.The product itself works well, image quality is decent and the screen is small enough so it’s not taking too much space on your dashboard. If you don’t mind having cables running from your dashboard to the back seat, then this is a good product for you.

This baby car camera from Ssatiscn has a resolution of 1080p. This camera with monitor is much better than a baby mirror since the camera works much better when it gets dark. While this camera and monitor only have basic features, this is acceptable for this price range. Installation is easy, but hiding the cable may be a challenge depending on your vehicle. The monitor is 4.3 inches in size, so it won't cover too much. The current price of $50 is reasonable.

This is relatively easy to set up as the camera and base can be placed anywhere on the dash with its suction cup mount. Two cables: one runs to the cigarette lighter plug. It has a big red button on top, which turns the camera and the monitor on. At the same time, the longer cable runs towards the camera, which can be attached with the included straps to a head cushion (front or back seat), depending on the orientation of the child seat. They provide enough length to run the cam cable from the front to the backseat, and any extra length can be hidden between the seats. It does what it's supposed to do while you drive. The visual quality is high resolution at 1080p, and the monitor isn't that big. It's big enough but small that it's not too distracting while driving.

This baby monitor set comes with all the accessories you need for wiring and connecting the screen to the camera. The main plug, plugs into your car’s cigarette lighter socket and powers it up. It comes with the mounting arm for your dashboard which is adjustable. The picture quality is good and clear enough to give you a continuous clear view of your baby while they’re in their car seat.

For its intended purpose, this Baby Car Camera is great to keep an eye on your child in the back seat without using your rearview mirror or occasionally turning around. It is especially good for rear facing child seats. It's very easy to set up. Fasten the camera to the seat and run the wires to the front where you placed the monitor. Most likely on your dash. The power cable plugs into the cigarette lighter. Could not be more simple. The picture is clear for both day and night vision. But I got this camera for a different purpose. My model railroad has an under-bench staging area. I'm using this camera to keep an eye on what's happening down there. It's better than bending down to look under the main layout. But whether you need this camera for its intended purpose, or you have other ideas, it's a nice, easy to use camera that does the job.

After approximately six months the camera stopped working. It's unfortunate because I found it quite useful.
