Once in awhile you buy a high quality generic part. My original ball handle of my Delta drill press was made of flimsy plastic that stripped and split…. This replacement is made of high quality Bakelite with a threaded brass insert. The larger ball feels better in your handle giving you better grip on the control lever. 5 balls for under $8. Thank you Amazon, I would’ve never known where to source these locally. Very happy with this purchase. ProTip: Make sure you measure your thread type and pitch before you buy. If you have a tap and die set, you’ll have metric and imperial thread gauges.

Great replacement knobs for my tractor, better then the ones that came on it.. These have treaded inserts.
