Must buy battery for the baofeng radios. Got mine for the UV5R and dont regret it one bit. Had to get a few more for me and a buddy as well. They all have worked great and have had no issues yet. They charge fast and get a good amount of use out of each charge. I think theyre worth it but I do wish they were a little cheaper but I suppose that's just what they cost. Worth the cost. Has lasted so far pretty good. I like the design and the look it gives the radio, it seems complete with this in it.

If you bought the new upgraded TP5 Radio, This Battery pack has the same model number, but the inside of the base is different, and will not mate up at all. Hoping they eventually have the proper TP5 BatPacks in stock soon. and will re-order.

Works as it should. Battery lasted two full days with lots of use. Have three of these and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their battery on their UV5R

Batterie de remplacement de celle d'origine qui était devenu défectueuse et s'adapte parfaitement avec ma radio BF-F8HP.Ayant plus de capacité versus l'ancienne, le temps de charge est plus long et la durée est très longue, je fais beaucoup plus d'heure d'utilsiation.

I used this for a weekend camping trip and it lasted all weekend, without turning it off. I played the radio a lot and was monitoring my favorite ham channels.The added length that this battery gives makes my radio fit my hand so much better. Great product , I highly recommend!!

Great sauce and lightweight, too!Oh...uh...I guess that's not exactly on point but it gets the idea across that it seems to be a really high-capacity battery since after I initially charged it I've had it monitoring a local relay for several days, all day and it's still not discharged.

I accidentally left my radio on in scanning mode on the VHF band in the other room. When I went to get the radio ready and packed for an outing a week later, it still had a two thirds charge left! Yes, I am very happy with this battery, and I may eventually get a second as a backup for extended outings. I don't know yet what kind of talk time is available, since I tend to spend much more time just listening (a habit from my military days), but I'm certain that, should the need arise, the battery will keep me talking however long I may need.I've read a lot about the fit of these batteries to certain radios, but this one appears to fit perfectly to my Baofeng BF-F9 V2, without any gaps or movement once attached properly to the radio. I'm a former US Army sigint NCO, so I'm VERY picky about my radio equipment. This battery thus far has given me no reason to complain, and I feel certain it never will.
