My birds loves the sand perch covers. They love to sharpen their nails and becks on it. I Am very pleased with my purchase.

My little parakeet would not stand on the perch with this sanded cover. First he just hung off the side of the cage until I removed the cover. I next just put a cover on half of the perch - still no way was he standing on it. So, I guess I go back to my old order.

Nor will she chew on them like she does the others. I bought these for the wider width to fit the perch better but that doesn't matter if my tiel won't even sit on them. I think it's too much gravel/sand & it hurts her feet. I don't recommend these
