The plastic perch is too slippery for my bird to grasp. I went to the dollar store and got some jute rope. Wrapped it around and now my bird loves this perch. Well, he loves interacting with the bird in the mirror while running back and forth on this perch.

Bought for our cockatiel. It gets slippery . Wish it had grip. For the price I guess ! It's kust Pvc pipe could just make it yourself.
