It is important to know what size bird you have. I have smaller birds, budgies, so some of the perches did not fit to the cage. Otherwise, the perches are fine.

My conure seems to love these perches and they're quite large! No weird smells or anything. I would suggest these to someone if they needed some good perches for their bird.

These are sm better than ropes in my opinion. If you’re a beginner and are unsure of what to buy I say go for natural wood perches. Of course I’ve only had budgies so I can’t speak for other birds. But from what I’ve seen budgies love to tear apart ropes and then you have to throw them out or use tape and constantly buy new ones to avoid their nails getting caught which is costly. Ropes are also harder to clean in my experience. But these wood perches last longer, are better for your birds feet’s, easy to clean, and my birds seem to really love them as well. I’ve had them for about a week and my budgies haven’t torn them apart at all so they’re also sturdy. My budgies also seem to love the bumpier wood. I notice them scratching their head on it and trying to chew it off. I think they might be a little short for something like a conure or cockatiel though.
