Best sleeping pad on the planet. Amazed every time I use it, which is not only for camping but also a convenient comfy mat to crash on at friends places or for ‘couch’ surfing too. Almost as comfy as a regular mattress. And sometimes a lot more comfy than somebody else’s mattress..

We are no strangers to air mattresses and sleeping on the floor. Between camping and moving a lot for my spouse’s job, we do regularly sleep on air mattresses. We have the Big Agnes double sleeping bag and used it on top of a regular full size air mattress, but because of the fitted sheet style elastic on the bottom, it twisted around under us all night and was really annoying. So we bit the bullet and bought this one and it really plussed up our camping experience. Love that it’s compact when deflated, but it’s also supportive and you don’t feel like you’re rolling off it like with some air mattresses.

Pumps up in 1.5 minutes with the supplied air sack, packs down small, and is really comfortable. Ground temp was in the low forties and I never felt cold, infact when I put my hand under my back I could feel my body heat reflecting from the mat!

So my wife and I have been avid campers for a while now, and mostly car camping and a little bit of back country.We always used a good old fashioned air mattress from Walmart with a battery pack and an air pump and that did the trick, but after too many times of me waking up on the ground from the mattress deflating, I had enough and I was determined to find a better solution.After HOURS of research I landed on the Big Agnes Rapide SL and I don't regret it one bit.We've used them dozens of times in the short time we've had them and they have never let us down. very comfortable and easy to inflate.also being insulated, it makes it so much nicer on those cold nights as you don't lose any body heat through the mattress. We even took then Ice camping at -20C and we slept like babiesIt also packs away In to a very reasonable size which is great for backpackingI have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and im extremely happy with my purchase

Super, j'ai pu régler deux problèmes à mes expéditions de camping. 1) Je dors souvent à 0-4 degrés Celsius, et même avec un bon sac de couchage (-35) le froid était un problème. J'ignore jusqu'à combien le matelas est efficace, mais dans ce cas ci, c'est parfait. 2) Après 2 ou 3 nuits j'étais souvent inconfortable et j'avais hâte de revenir dans mon bon lit à la maison. Ce matelas est vraiment parfait, regarder les comparatifs sur internet et vous verrez que les points suivants sont souvent mentionnés (matelas n'est pas bruyant, les côtés plus relevés permettent de ne pas glisser du matelas pendant la nuit et le confort est excellent.) C'est le prix qui m'a fait hésiter si longtemps, mais finalement je ne regrette absolument pas.Je suis 6 pieds 2, 195 lb et je dors sur le côté. Matelas 25x78 (enfin les pieds et la tête qui restent sur le matelas !) Utilisé 3 fois, nuits de sommeil parfaites.

It's very comfortable and not too hard to inflated but I should have bought the regular wide. I'm not too wide but it's kinda annoying having the arms failing to the sides but that's on me. I need to test it on cold climate to test the R-value.

I initially had a 20x66 big agnes air core and while I loved my sleeping pad I wanted a 25x72 inch pad to increase my comfort while sleeping in the backcountry.I ordered the big agnes rapide sl and have not regretted this purchase so far. Included is a picture that even shows that although the rapide sl is a bugger pad, it actually takes up alot less room when stored.

I bought the double wide size to use when camping with my boyfriend in our 2-person backpacking tent. It fits our 50"x88" tent well and it is comfortable and lightweight for what it is. We have so far only tested it down to temps in the 50s so I can't comment on the insulation yet but I would guess it would be fine for temps at least as low as the 30s. We pair it with an Enlightened Equipment Accomplice 2-person down quilt rated at 20 degrees. While backpacking, one of us carries the tent, and the other carries the pad and quilt to distribute the weight. I can't comment on the durability yet; I will have to update this review once we've taken it out a couple more times and in lower temperatures. Instead of using the inflation sack, I bring a mini battery powered air pump to inflate the pad.

Very comfy, very warm, medium-easy to inflate (it takes me about 5 minutes). Packs down small, certainly heavier than the foldable kind but way comfier. Got the wide version which is good because it’s barely wide enough

This generously thick pad gave me the best 4 nights of sleep I’ve ever had camping. I used the Flextail pump to quickly fill it so not sure how long it would take with the included fill bag. The quick release valve made deflating super fast and easy at the end of our trip. I’m 6’ and 230 pounds so I opted for the long wide option and it did not disappoint. Already looking forward to using this again soon!
