While these rubber duck antennas work as good as any (use of rubber duck antennas are for eye safety. They are not for efficient transmission/ reception.

They're a good replacement for stock factory antennae on a Baofeng GMRS-15 Pro two-way radio.

They seem to work well on GMRS. Good SWR. They aren't obnoxiously long

I use this in my boafeng shortwave radio. the reception has gone down a lot from when nice used the original antenna. the screw doesntor can't not go al the way seated. looks like there's three extra turns I can get down. not a bad item but not great or not an improvement from the original antenna
