not a compass it's an attitude indicator has angle of bank to 40 degree and climb to40 degree

Nice compass haven't really used it yet just mounted in the boat nice big letters you can see not sure how it works in the dark yet worth the money

Unfortunately I didn’t install it on my dash until a couple weeks ago so past returning. It read fine until I started car then read horribly wrong. Then would point north when car was off again. Eventually it read wrong all of the time. Total junk. Maybe it was ruined after so many times being wrong with the engine in. If so it should be used with row boats only
