Your cart is empty.2011 two CD collection from the Blues legend. The music of John Lee Hooker is that of a unique innovator and Blues icon. His legacy chronicles, and mirrors, the journey that the Blues travelled in his own lifetime: migrating from the rural Delta to the tough urban environs of Memphis, Detroit, Cincinnati and Chicago before becoming an international musical language. This authoritative collection brings together 50 of John Lee's key works, including numerous original hits cut for the Vee-Jay label between 1955-1964, gritty, Folk-Blues 'live' recordings made at two Newport Folk Festivals in the early 1960s and raw, visceral band performances captured in Palo Alto and Chicago in 1977. Metro Select.

Music is flawless; I'm more concerned that I was sold a CDr rather than a pressed Silver CD, without any indication from Amazon. Too cheap to send back but not really happy, feels like an inferior product

This is a wonderful laid back record. Only slight moan i have is apart from a few pops and clicks the last track on record two suffers from constant clicks for the last minute or so. Also packaged in the dreaded paper sleeve however after cleaning before playing return the record into a new poly sleeve. Is it worth returning for minor flaws?. I don't think so as a few pops and clicks is part and parcel of the joy of vinyl. One star removed for album sleeves.

I have no qualms about the quality of the item but I did take a chance ordering it, expecting an Lp record, and what I received is a CD.

Although advertised as an LP record, you'll end up with a compact disc. Hopefully this item description will be changed once and for all to avoid further mix-ups with other buyers?

Just like Aero9k ( Saabs rule!) I ordered what I thought - based on the description - to be a vinyl record. You would think that "LP Record" would mean an actual LP Record. It is round and has a hole in the middle but those are the only similarities. How long will it take before they correct the description.....I'm sure the CD will be just fine.

If you're looking for the LP of this album save your time and money. This listing isn't accurate and despite contacting the sellers they still haven't fixed it.

I Just Can't Hold On Much LongerI'm Gonna Keep On WalkingI Was Standing By The WaysideT. B.
