thought I was being proactive and ordered a black toner to have in stock for when I ran out. 2 months later I ran out and replaced the toner cartridge with the new one but it was empty too. Now I'm stuck buying another one... not cool

There’s no way around expensive toner. It’s painful to replace it. But usually it’s essential to work so it’s got to be purchased.We have tried several generic or refills cartridges and it never fails to disappoint us. It bleeds into the paper. Leaves tiny colored ink spots on paper. Plus always seems to run out faster than the real stuffWe’ve learned the lesson and only purchase the real Brother toner now.Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on the cheap alternatives. Buy the real Brother toner.
