Useful when full length lifts can’t be used.A little hard / firm at first but does eventually conform to get a more comfortable feeling.

The new pairs I received were absolutely different from the old ones I bought before.The original old ones come in two pairs in a package and are made of good, supportive, solid hard foam; they are for a real men's sizeBut the new ones are made of softer foam, yet smaller and narrower like a woman's size. Also, there is only one pair in the package.So I got it returned to had my monies back immediately.

Doesn’t feel awkward and it works with low top shoes ( new balance 550 to be exact ).Helps reduce back pain.Although it needs a bit of breaking in to cope around the shoes.

Really like the extra sole coverage instead of just the heal. Loses one star though becasue the support on the underside is tappered. Would prefer solid for better feel of support.

Achetées pour remonter ma jambe droite après une chirurgie de la hanche qui ma raccourci la jambe d’un centimètre !Bonne largeur du talon 3" mais se réduit avant de toucher la chaussure…la partie en contact se réduit à 2" se qui nuit à la stabilité.Si installé dans une chaussure ouverte à l’arrière, un morceau de ruban collant double face est indispensable, elles sont très légères.Il y a deux paires ce qui permet d’en mettre une dans les chaussures pour l’intérieur et pour l’extérieur.

For years friends have remarked that my left shoulder was lower than my right, and it was visible in photos as well as when I stood before a full-length mirror. My tailor remarked that my left leg was a half inch shorter than my right, which is not per se unusual, and would tailor my trousers accordingly. Several weeks ago, I ordered this half inch lift, and the results are substantial. After placing it in my left shoe my shoulders are now even, and my hips are not slightly tilted to the left. These are well made, but very slightly uncomfortable if you put them without a more giving cover. However, I quickly got used to their being firm, there was zero chafing with regular socks, but my greatest worry was that they would slip out of place over a day of walking. Not so, because they stay put perfectly due to being longer than just a heel riser, but not so long that one's foot is cramped at the ball and toe of the foot. Only downside is that you get two left and two right, and I only needed the left. I will have to order again to get two more left, so I have enough for topsiders, running shoes, etc., although they can easily be pulled out of one shoe and put into another; there is no adhesive to deal with. This was a game changer. I suppose if gaining height is your only need then use both, but if you have one leg shorter than the other (and you might not realize it) then these are excellent to balance your posture and make walking more fluid and comfortable.

Following an accident some years my right leg is now 1" shorter than my left leg. These heel lift inserts fitted perfectly (I take size 10 shoes), and are very comfortable, after wearing for a couple of hours I forgot I was using the item, Would definitely recommend and will probably buy again for my other shoes.
