It is good quality for the price but it doesn't seem to always point true north. Depends where you stand. It is easy to read, I just hesitate to have to use it in an emergency situation. It was suitable for my needs.

Got these for my son’s 13th birthday. I planned a compass and flashlight nighttime treasure hunt in our backyard forest for his birthday with friends. It was a huge hit! The compasses worked great and everyone was excited to take it home along with the flashlight instead of a loot bag! The compasses were accurate and fit perfect in their pocket.

I’m standing facing North and the needle doesn’t point North. Do not buy. Very flimsy to hold.

Non è arrivata la stessa bussola, stessa marca ma con il vetro trasparente. Funziona comunque, sarebbe stato bello ricevere il colore giusto

Good compass for the price. It’s currently winter and we wanted a compass for snowmobiling, just in case we were to get lost and cell service wasn’t around. I found that no one sells compasses during the winter months. Checked on Amazon and bingo. Found what we needed.

Heck every year it keeps pointing a little bit different direction. Mind you even the high ends don't point the right way, what joke. Must be made by US company and use different measurements.PS works well, ultra-light, and just be clipped on and forgotten about. But really you look weird walking about downtown with one of these and map. I either recommend doing it or not recommend it.

For the price, you can't go wrong. It's not a heavy duty compass, nor a feature rich model, so I wouldn't count on it for serious 'expeditions'. But for basic outdoorsmanship and orienteering, it's perfect (in my case, teaching my kids about directions/navigation). It's sturdy enough and is actually quite accurate...hold it level and it'll point true North. As well, Coghlan's is a good Winnipeg company. In my experience, they don't sell junk. 5 stars for this little low-cost camping tool.

Funciona muy bien, aunque yo no la voy a utilizar mucho, se que si va a ser muy útil en el futuro para mi.

Overall it's doing the job, the build quality is poor, body made of cheap easy to damage plastic. It is fine for basic usage.

Despite saying they were liquid filled in the advert and on the packaging they don't appear to be so. Bought two and both point in same direction, so maybe of some use but overall fairly poor quality and not what I expected.

Really nice compass for the price! The needle is fairly accurate, it lines up close to what my Suunto and Brunton show. The needle is quick and easy moving. The plastic case feels exceptionally sturdy. For a pocket compass, this does what it's suppose to and should last a good while. Cant beat it for the price.
