Lots of little surprises are included in this compass, like imperial and metric measurements, whistle, level, and much more. It weighs a little more than expected but I consider that a plus because that means it's really well made and will withstand the weather and clumsy fingers. This will be a necessity in my go bag. I'm buying more for gifts to the people I care about.

Worked well. Used it to find my property stake on my country property. Needs a lock feature to keep it set. Other than that it does what a compass does.
