Its not the best quality. The hinge showed up twisted and sometimes it won't snap shut and other times it wont open. But my kid loves it and feels like a real pirate with it so thats what matters. I would buy again if needed

Was looking for an anquite looking compass to go with my pirate costume, this is perfect to hang from my belt although a little heavy , but it makes more realistic.
