Handy little heart rate monitor. This has worked well for me on several setups including my stationary bike. I would have given it 5 stars, but the fabric strap does have some drawbacks (namely cleaning). Overall, the functionality it is perfect. A great substitute for a chest strap.

I wish the description stated that it worked but I took the gamble and it works straight out of the box. You have to figure out your max heart rate and reconfigure the HRZs in the app as it seems to be set quire high even for a young person. again this is all unrelated to the armband its self which was perfect

First of all, I cannot wear a chest strap because my chest gets chafed and raw. I have tried body glide, duct tape, banaids etc. No luck. My skin is just too sensitive. So I am forced to use an optical hr sensor worn around the bicep. I own a Polar Verity Sense and love it. I have had it for many years and it's great. The accuracy is excellent and no skin issues. So then why did I buy the Coospo HW9? I bought a new treadmill that has heart rate programs. To use these programs, you need to connect your hr sensor to the treadmill. The hr sensor needs to be at least bluetooth 4.0 to connect. The Polar Verity Sense doesn't have the necessary bluetooth version to connect. So I wanted to give the Coospo HW9 a try, since it has bluetooth 5.0. It connected to the treadmill instantly. So how accurate is the Coospo HW9 compared to the Polar Verity Sense? I went for a typical run (including varying speeds) wearing both the Polar Verity Sense and the Coospo HW9 at the same time and compared the hr data after completing the run. The results were that both monitors had the exact same average hr and the graphs were nearly identical, maybe a difference of 1 or 2 bpm a couple of times throughout the run. Polar had my max hr for the run at 182, while Coospo had 180. Very close results indeed. I haven't tried it for any other exercises but for running I would certainly recommend this, as it is comfortable to wear, easy to use and is accurate.

Love the fact that I can see my hr zone at a glance.... this band was nice than the cheaper cospo band... liked that it was elastic and fit much nicer... loved that I set an alarm for high heart rate. But just like the cheaper cospo band, it was highly inaccurate in the higher range... was telling me I was 160, when I was only 125. I used it with heartool app. But every time it have an alarm , it disconnects from the app and you have to start a new recording...I bought it to help manage my tachycardia condition (POTS). Couldn't find a better app that would work with it to record 24/7. You still have to pish a button to start recording, as if you're doing a work out. When it randomly didconects, you have to restart recording, resulting in missed data and multiple sssims to cover a 16 hr day... im disappointed cause I've tried several, and liked some of its features... but the inaccuracy in the high range is not acceptibe. I actually invest my heart medication before I realized it was wrong :(

Now, I have worn it for over a week, every single day, no recharge yet and it is not only comfy but also very accurate which is saying much for a armband monitor compare to a belt monitor. I will never go back to a belt monitor, I felt it was too annoying, made me feel like stuck like a sausage at time while this monitor is super comfy.I did make a test with a professional monitor, pressure/cardiac and it was accurate to 1 heartbeat. I'm not saying you should rely on this to be always super accurate but it is and more than enough for a runner like me. I don't usually give anything 5 stars but because I see no downside, no faults, it's 5 stars.

I've used the armband for 10 months now on a regular basis. I've noted that 3/10 times when I start running, the reading of my HR spikes to my zone 4-5 (150+), although I'm just warming up and actually have my HR is in the 100-120 range. Then it suddenly comes down to my actual HR and then stays mostly accurate for the rest of my run.I like the ability to manually adjust the HR zones, and to set up an alarm (vibration) at a certain HR.The monitor also automatically connects to my treadmill, which is pretty useful. The monitor easily connects to my Garmin Fenix 5x.Battery seems to last long so far.I prefer an armband to a chest strap (more comfortable), although I wished it were more reliable to provide accurate reading at all times.I liked it so far, however now the HR sensor isn't working anymore. The device connects to both my phone and watch (and i can see its fully charged), however the green light from the HR sensor isn't flashing... So it's basically broken by now...
