This my second time buying this diverter kit (for different bathrooms). Works great, easy to install. In some spouts, you might have to file it a bit so it fits

When it arrived the package was obviously a returned item because it had white tape to reseal it for return. I don’t care, it’s good to get a restocked item off the shelf-and it fit and works properly. So all good.

I had no idea how to replace this part, thankfully the directions on the package were clear and simple. Took a couple tries but was an easy enough repair. Great value. Works great now, no leaks. Highly recommend.

My old diverter was terrible—more than half of the water still came out of the spout, and the shower head had such weak pressure. I thought I needed a whole new spout, which I didn’t want to mess with due to the age of the existing one and the risk of damaging the plumbing behind the wall (probably 30+ years old). I decided to try this product, thinking at best it might make a slight improvement. To my absolute surprise, the diverter now works like new! Not a drop comes out of the spout when you pull it, and the shower head has full pressure!

When you pull up on the metal piece the water still squirts everywhere and the shower is not fully on.

This is a very good replacement for the leaky shower diverter in my son's bathroom. Easy to install after I managed to unscrew the spout from the wall. It's a little on the expensive side for what it is, but that seems to be the way of new world.

Fit perfectly, I generally don't have much luck with the 'fits most' (except yours) but this worked well.Price is high for a 2$ part but beats the alternative.

Did not fit my spout, and my old plastic piece was broken so it wasn't an option to use that with the new washer.Considering how inexpensive the plastic is, they should include 2 or 3 different sizes to ensure compatibility with a wide range of spouts. Especially since this kit costs 3 times what it costs at the hardware store.UPDATE: Using sandpaper and some trial and error, sanding down the front, the back, and even the washer (slightly) to make this fit in my spout, it works. I doubt most people will want to bother attempting that.

Be aware that this will not work with Kohler As a total replacement as the diverter does not fit. That being said, I only needed to replace the gasket which fit perfectly. Be careful removing the existing diffuser, clean everything well (vinegar and something to scrub / scrape to get deposits removed) pop out the old gasket and put the one from this pack in and pop it all back together. It’s an easy dyi.
