My kids school always requests this brand pencils as they break less. As my kids are getting older they are noticing the difference too and requesting these as well.Wish they would be a bit cheaper but I guess you pay for quality.

The Dixon Ticonderoga HP pencil is the best non mechanical pencil in the world for general writing utility. Sharpens well and cleanly. Good bonding to the carbon. Solid wood that wont snap. Function eraser that doesn't mess up the paper.

I only buy Dixon pencils. They draw so smoothly, shade nicely, and the eraser is soft and works well.The eraser doesnt rip the paper or mush the pencil markings around.My pencils came in a plastic package, not the cardboard one in the photo.

Bought these on a recommendation that said the leads were strong and didn't break easily when sharpened. Have found this to be accurate. These pencils will last a lot longer than most of the ones I've bought before. Recommend these pencils to other people.
