Product Description

The Tracer AN series is based on common negative design and advanced MPPT control algorithm, with LCD displaying running status.

Improving the MPPT control algorithm further, Tracer AN series can minimize the maximum power point loss rate and loss time, quickly track the maximum power point of the PV array and obtain the maximum energy from solar modules under any conditions; and can increase the ratio of energy utilization in the solar system by 10%-30% compared with a PWM charging method.

The limitation function of the charging power and current and reducing charging power function automatic improve the stability which works even connecting oversize PV modules and in high temperature, and increase the professional protection chip for the communication port, further improving the reliability and meeting the different application requirements.

With the adaptive three-stage charging mode based on a digital control circuit, Tracer AN series controllers can effectively prolong the life cycle of batteries, significantly improve the system performance and support all-around electronic protection functions, minimize damages to components of the system caused by incorrect installation or system failure at the utmost, and effectively ensure safer and more reliable operation of the solar power supply system for a longer service time.

  • While wiring the controller do not close the circuit breaker of fuse and make sure that the leads of "+" and "-" poles are connected correctly.
  • A fuse which current is 1.25 to 2 times the rated current of the controller, must be installed on the battery side with a distance from the battery not greater than 150 mm.
  • If the controller is to be used in an area with frequent lightning strikes or unattended area, it must be installed an external surge arrester.
  • If an inverter is to be connected to the system, connect the inverter directly to the battery, not to the load side of the controller.

Super easy to setup and very user friendly. I've had zero issues with it. Some do, but I don't mind that it's plastic. It gets the job done.

Please read to the end - Product arrive well before it was scheduled. Got things set up to test it out and such. Important to connect to batter first. Connected the remote monitor, and was very upset, there was a line of nothing right through the screen. Sent message off telling about it. They replied asking for a picture. I go reset the system up so I can get a picture of non-working display. Well display now works perfectly good. This last weekend I connect the system together into my trailer for camping. The instructions doesn't really come out and clearly tell you things. So based on other systems I was not setting the load side up correctly. So Let me tell you point blank, This unit has the ability to take 40amp from the battery and send it to the load side. So I configured the unit solar panel, battery to battery and trailer to load. I am now able to see the power created by the solar panel and the power consumed by the trailer. I like this feature ALOT! I'm having some difficulty getting the USB to laptop to work properly but I am not ready to put my hands up. So far so good, I like it and at this time I am recommending the product.The Seller: Had a problem with the unit. Contacted them. Was a process to get through what the problem was. They are shipping me a new unit. Discovered working through Amazon for a resolution is difficult as some information is hidden from the seller. Once we got a way to identify it was me over and over again a solution was fast coming. So... If you have a problem rewrite the entire narrative, don't just reply. During the process I got frustrated a bunch. But we have things figured out properly and I have no problem recommending them! I think it has been frustrating for them as well.

Had to buy some extra stuff to be able to install properly, but I really like it. Works Great. Gives lots of info on operation.
