They are perfectly fine, when they actually work. They are connected via WiFi, not the a home base. They constantly buffer and have loading issues, making playing anything live pretty much impossible. All other devices work fine off the signal, so it's the camera. We bought this to monitor baby goats outside and unfortunately it's almost impossible with this issue. Seems to common with this series as a quick Google search has revealed.

Nice compact camera with great image quality. Easy connection to base. No issues. I used an external solar panel to avoid periodic charging that would otherwise be required.

I have all the eufy cams. These ones are the lower end of the eufy line. Hence the price. The battery doesnt last as long. Gives you 4 to 6 months if your lucky. I only use mine from 12 am to 6am to conserve battery. The settings are a little confusing as its kind of a stand alone system that can work outside the system. I still dont understand that.

Kodi Always had issues with resizing when sleep . tried multiple installs from clean win 11 pro. always failed have used xbmc/kodi for over a decade on countless installs and never an issue. too bad love the usb c but had to return

I have several Eufy cameras including a couple of 2C Pro battery cameras. They work very well, and help me keep an eye on our property and animals. I saw that the price on this camera was lower than the 2C Pro, so I decided to give it a try. It works in essentially the same way, has the same 2K resolution, and the same app interface and settings. There is one major advantage to this camera as it doesn't require a Homebase unit for connection, but is able to connect directly to a 2.4 GHz wifi network. It can also connect to the Homebase 3 for improved AI facial recognition. I have a Homebase 2, so I can't speak to this feature. The downside of this camera is that it's much bigger, and has about half the battery life of the 2C Pro. I'm using it in a chicken run with a solar panel, so I'm not as concerned about size or battery life. If I was putting this in a location which didn't have sunlight for charging. I would definitely prefer the 2C Pro.

This product works really well even in heavy rainstorms. There’s a very very clear picture and it certainly picks up any sort of motion from a human battery. Life is tremendous. I’ve been using it for a month and it is barely below 80%.

So I have bought a couple of other Eufy cameras recently and they work great. This one works ok but has missed several motion events. I have moved the camera around and it says WiFi is great but still not as reliable at this point. For the price it’s hard to beat
