I was under the impression that I could run this through my AVR, but because there is only one RCA port I don’t see how I could hook up a speaker to it. Pretty disappointing.With that said, I’m sure the amp is good and would perform well in a different scenario as I already have two Fosi ZA3 that perform great.

Superb V3 mono Pair in Stereo modesI also tried with 32V 5A supply and surprisingly the cabinet enclosure heating issue got subsided..TryThanks Fosi, looking forward for V4.. V5...V6...Like Samsung or iphone models

I had read some reviews, as I am interested in this market a lot, already owning a Fosi V3 and a pair of Aiyima A07 Max's... I had very high hopes for the Fosi V3 mono amps, and was not disappointed! Fresh out of the box they were a little tight and congested sounding, just a bit-no blooming of the sound...Well, 5 hours later and wow!! What a difference! The sound-stage is deep, wide and very clear, with no shortage of power, that's for sure! They sound so good they have already replaced my other monoblock amps! Bass is deep and very tight, the midrange is clear and open, highs are not shouty but again clean and well balanced top end. Excellent input choices (RCA and XLR) and simple controls... Having heard several of these TI 3255 chip amps, all have a similar sound, but the additional realism of the V3 mono is quite audible! And you can swap audio op-amps as well! A killer deal on the amps right now! Buy a pair- you won't regret it! :)Edit: I've been listening to these V3 mono amps for about a week now, and I am BLOWN away by the amount of sound these amps reproduce! True giant killers! I'm more than pleased with these amps! Buy some! :)

Contemplated the purchase ever since the amp was announced through Kickstarter by Fosi Audio and have been closely following early production samples reviews as well as reviews for the final version which is now available on Amazon. Stunning doesn't even begin to describe it, channel separation, sonic dynamics are outstanding. I had them them connected to my SMSL DO100 DAC via RCA jacks and the improvement in sound quality over my trusty Yamaha R-S700 receiver was quite noticeable. I then connected the amps using XLR cables to my DAC and that took things way further. Whoever said there was no noticeable sonic difference between RCA and XLR was dead wrong because there is a difference. Get these little gems and you won't be disappointed.

Ne ho presi due per avere gli alimentatori separati. Presi da una settimana e dopo una trentina d'ore si stanno ancora rodando, infatti il suono cambia di giorno in giorno.Buona la qualità audio: bassi, scena, timbrica, nitidezza ecc. ecc. Valgono i circa 250 € spesi. Se devo trovare un difetto, forse "impastano" un pochino quando ci son troppi strumenti in contemporanea (comunque giudizio certamente positivo).Come già segnalato scaldano parecchio e mi sto organizzando per mettere un paio di ventole.

There are many many reviews of the V3 Mono out there. I am not going to attempt to reproduce what is covered better elsewhere. I focus instead on my experience. I will say that the sound quality is excellent to my ears.I ordered two units. One unit did not properly enter standby mode. I contacted the manufacturer and their support was disappointing. I waited days for a response. First it was suggested that I upgrade my RCA cables, then it was suggested that I run some tests in order to see if the unit met Fosi’s definition of defective. I eventually opted to return and repurchase the defective unit through Amazon. I actually had the replacement unit up and running before getting a second response from Fosi. The second unit worked as expected.At the time I purchased the units, the 48V 5A power supplies did not have any third party certification. Fosi was able to supply documentation from the PSU manufacturer that they have obtained ETL certification.I am very happy with the amplifiers, I am disappointed with the service. To Fosi’s credit I did receive a survey asking me to rate their service.

I wasn't expecting this much from a device like this. I have two 12 infinity subwoofers that are dual voice coiled. My thought was to give these a try in the off chance they can actually push the sub. I tried both 8 and 2 ohm configurations on one subwoofer and I am really impressed. 8 ohm, the subs were happy, I would guess they were getting around 130-140 watts as expected. The damping is impressive with 8 ohms as everything sounded amazing and tight with true accuracy of the sounds it was able to produce. When I tried 2 Ohms, that is when I laughed out loud due to my shock on how much current this thing can produce! I'm not going to say it was crazy but it was truly getting there. I'm not sure if this can double the power at 2 ohms but it did seem to be producing more then 300 Watts RMS with ease. I have a 400 Watt RMS amp and this thing is right up there with it.My plan now is to get 4 of these and pin each amp to a voice coil to provide 480 Watts RMS (240W per voice coil) to each subwoofer. While it performed well at 2 Ohm I feel a 4 Ohm load might be a slight bit better on damping.For the price these things are absolutely amazing, I am now figuring out if I need to run a dedicated 20AMP service for my audio equipment cause these alone will draw 14 Amps when they hit. I'm pretty sure I will trip the circuit breaker on a 15AMP with the rest of my gear if I don't upgrade it.

Good for desktop use at the very leas; perhaps not powerful enough for a large room. It does run hot since the entire case is used as a heat sink. So it needs to be put somewhere it can exhaust the heat.As for the sound (paired with a topping E50 using xlr), I can't really tell the difference compared to a yamaha avr, while not being pushed hard. Way I see it, amp doesn't cause distortion and is neutral. Don't expect something game changing unless your speakers are power starved.

I am using these to test a setup with Dayton Audio BST-1 bass shakers. Currently I have one setup on the chair, and I am planning to use a second one in series at 8hm.But for now this amp has plenty of power with default gain from minidsp processor. The bass-shaker response is powerful and direct.I will try to update the review as soon as I have completed the setup.

I was looking for monoblocks. Decent monoblocks. And, I'm a fan of Fosi Audio products. I basically own everything they made in the last year. Been waiting for those a long while.Well. Now.... The hunt is over.Price range is more than adequate, it's a steal. Those two amps just deliver, I have the best soundstage I've ever had. Wide open! Plugged directly into my Dac of choice, the topping d50 III, I'm in audio heaven.I love the simplicity of the V3 mono, but the features of the little amp, like auto shut down/turn on, xlr and rca inputs, gain switch. Shipped with two 48v PSUs. I've never had a better setup (using monoblocks, cause I could not afford having monoblocks before). I actually use a 32V psu, it's plenty for my needs, and hey, it's fosi parts, they are compatible.Truly, I'm done with trying to find monoblocks that can perform. The Fosi V3 mono IS what I was looking for, so glad of my purchase.I will update review in a few weeks when burn in is done.

These little guys are great for what they are, but be careful because if they only have one QC sticker on the bottom like the attached picture, the output polarity is reversed. It was a design flaw. They have corrected as far back as August, but Amazon seems to have old stock.

Tengo un equipo de clase media-alta y compré dos V3 por las buenas reseñas que a nivel técnico tienen en todo el mundo. Las van pasando las horas de funcionamiento, van sonando mejor.Utilizo de previo mi Streamer Wiim Pro-Plus y las cajas T+A Criterion TMR60 y la escena es tremenda, al estar los dos canales completamente separados, el sonido cálido y descriptivo, es un clase D con mayúsculas.
