Nachdem der SMSL AD 18 mich nach 4 Jahren gelangweilt hat und ich mal die Fosis ausprobieren wollte, habe ich mich nach intensiver Recherche für die Kombination ZA3 und ZD3 entschieden. Im Kombination mit StSt Verus Speakern und einem Thommessen Proteus 1 Subwoofer Modul aus den 90s bin ich wirklich begeistert! Das geht ab wie die sprichwörtliche Schmitz Katze 🐱 Ich bin kein High Ender, aber ich habe natürlich anständige symmetrische XLR Kabel, gute Lautsprecherkabel et cetera. Der ZA3 hat mit dem 48 Volt , 5 Ampere genug Power in meinem Setup, allerdings werde ich mir noch das Netzteil mit 10 Ampere schnappen. Die Kombi klingt tatsächlich jeden Tag besser, wobei ich immer der Ansicht war: "Voodoogeschwurbel" 😉 Absolut empfehlenswert! Cheers.Nachtrag: Feb 14, 2025.Nachdem die Erste Euphorie vorbei ist und ich den Amp mit meinem Creek A50i verglichen habe, folgt die Ernüchterung. Er ist toll! Keine Frage... Aber gegen den Creek A50i stinkt er erbärmlich ab 😂. Da die 14 Tage Rücksendemöglichkeit verstrichen ist, werde ich den ZA3 natürlich behalten, auch wenn mir der Tb20a Pro, den ich ohne Netzteil beim China-Mann für lächerliche 53€ erstand wesentlich besser gefällt und der auch wesentlich besser zu meinem Setup passt... Man sollte Äpfel nicht mit Birnen vergleichen. Des Weiteren habe ich mir ja auch schon Zubehör dafür gekauft. Bevor ihr euer altes Equipment zur Hölle Schick, hört mal genauer hin, ob das nicht sogar mehr zu Euch passt. Trotzdem ein toller Amp 😊👍

Excellent petit amplificateur qui n'a pas a rougir face au grande marque.Je l'achète pour la 3ème fois et j'en suis vraiment content.La qualité est au rendez-vous et une patate en mono, même si la stéréo se débrouille bien.Possibilités de faire des modifications avec de nouvelles OP (voir avec FOSI), d'ailleurs c'est ce que je vais faire pour leurs donner plus de pêche ainsi que de finesse au niveau du sonLa connectique est impeccable, dommage qu'il n'y est pas de sorties cinch voir XLR (mais le prix aurait été différent).Je recommande les yeux fermés

What a great little amp. I have had a few expensive HiFI set ups in my life, but now that I have downsized, I wanted something smaller. This, when hooked up the the WiiM Ultra that I also bought recently and a good pair of bookshelf speakers (Dali), sounds way more impressive than it should. The fact that I can use this as a mono or stereo is something I've never come across before, and that opens up its versatility even more. Recommended for those looking for a less expensive, but still good quality, amplifier base.

It sounds great as a budget amplifier, I've been using it for over 6 months now and it still works great. I wish it had a remote to be able to turn it off and adjust volume. It's nothing exceptional tho, doesn't match higher end amplifiers of course but it's hard to beat at around it's price and a very good alternative for a soundbar.

Excellent amp. Hooked up to my computer via Audioquest Dragonfly Colbalt and B&W LM1 speakers it sounds awesome. Better than expected. Just realize that there is no remote, inputs are limited. If you can live with that, recommended.

Using this in my basement for retro gaming. Pushing paradigm monitor speakers and a paradigm sub.Clean sound. Great channel separation. I wish there was some form of EQ. (That gets handled by the audio source).Way better than I expected.*review update*I swapped out the op amps. Put in Burson v7 vivids. Unreal. Really made this little amazing amp shine even more.Also bought a second. Running them in mono mode. AMAZING.

Must have for anyone venturing into smaller class D amps. Haven’t tried spilt mono with two amps but will definitely once some funds build up again :) subwoofer out is a really nice addition

I paired my ZA3 with a Wiim Ultra. I wanted a modern stereo system that can connect to my TV via HDMI Arc and stream Tidal music and get the best sound out of my turntable. Outstanding sound quality. I will get another one for sure. One for each R and L channels.

My husband built me a set of Overnight Sensations so I could listen to his Steely Dan collection.This amp does justice to the hard work Fagen and Becker put in to the recordings.Power is sufficient.

Needed something compact to run my bookshelf speakers in a limited space area.Bought a second ZA3 to match up with my other ZA3, both set in MONO modes.These sound great and have plenty of power running my high efficiency speakers.Great performance and great price!

I used this amplifier to drive the JBL 530 which is a 6 ohm nominal load and 86 db/w sensitivity speakers and it drives them at all levels easily with no noise whatsoever, the character of this speaker/amp pairing is a bit laid back in mid range, fast and tight thumping bass, slightly rolled off in the treble,I’ve found the best dynamics with the potentiometer somewhere between 11:00-01:00 o’clock and the windows volume betwen 60-70%(Vrms of 1.95V DAC line-level output), this gives me about 70 db average listening level with 30+ db of dynamics headroom.I’m looking to try other op-amps in this amplifier and see how it affects it tonally, overall I’m plenty happy for such a good price and lower size profile that this amplifier provides, well done Fosi!
