As others have stated they received their reeds quickly, my experience was exactly the opposite. They come in a nice little plastic case for protection, and it will easily fit a few more reeds as necessary. Out of the box, the reeds look well made, I noticed the yellow waxed hemp on one of the reeds was a bit too loose and close to the end. First time placed in the chanter the hemp unraveled, so required re-wrapping. The other reed was fine, although both seated a bit too deep into the chanter, and will require some additional hemp to allow for tuning. They both played easily, requiring very little air compared to my Abbot, Tru-tone, and Walsh reeds. And they have a nice mellow, but quiet, sound with a bit of a higher tone. Like the headline says: A reasonable reed, for both price, quality of sound, and workmanship.
