Even though I'm going to return this item because it does not fit I'm going to give them a good recommendation. The step one on the instructions was to check to see if the sound bar bracket fit the sound bar. Mine did not so I will have to get a different one. But the good news is I did not spend 45 minutes putting it together to find that out it was step one so I got it right away

The mounting bar looks fine but it would of looked better on the bottom of the tv mount. The instructions have it showing for the top so I mounted it based on the instructions. It comes with some extensions for different types of sound bars. I use one for one side but wished that the holes was placed differently so I didn't need the extensions for my sound bar. I placed an outlet right behind it so that all the plugs for the various devices like chromecast, fire tv stick, and other hdmi power plugs are right behind the speaker but since I didn't have a way to mount the outlets, I used some twisty ties so it doesn't move around and some additional screws. It looks kind of tacky but better than it hanging from the bottom. Now I don't have any cords around the tv which is the plus side. The sound is nice coming from the top but who knows what it sounds like from the bottom since I didn't want to take it apart and reinstall it on the bottom of the tv mount. All together, it makes a nice look for your TV.

If this is standard mount with the holes in the same area of tv,s tell me why it doesn't work? And your directions are disappointing. You get more from an image in your ad.

I do like the idea behind this mount.. I have an outdoor TV that we swivel back and forth, so I need the soundbar to move WITH the TV. It makes sense how it's made, and it's probably pretty practical as long as you have threaded mounting holes for your soundbar.Mine was missing a screw for the mount. So, imagine my frustration when I have everything apart, ready to go and the one screw I need is missing. Go with a top shelf, so much easier.

I recently converted our formal dining room into a home gym. We were using a nice Yamaha sound bar attached to our 43" TCL smart TV to stream workouts. Annoyingly, the sound bar had to sit on the ground because there was no easy way to mount it. So when we worked out, the sound emanated from the floor. This is not ideal for a good workout. I was thrilled to see a (mostly) universal mount that would hold the soundbar close to the TV, either above or below depending on which way you flip the mount. The unit supports TV with VESA mounts of 200 or higher. Unfortunately for me, the TCL 43 inch TV that I thought had 200mm mounts, had very narrow 100mm mounts. At first I was heartbroken because the mount looked great, if only I could attach the sound bar to the TV. I liked the mount enough so that I used zip ties to make up the difference between a 100mm VESA and the 200mm mount. So, now I have an awesome sounding soundbar mounted onto the TV with zip ties. LOL. But it works (and again, the problem is not with the mount, but me thinking this particular TV had different sized mounts). I will give 5 stars to the product for looks, functionality and weight. I will add a 6th star because of the price. (only $30).
