I gave this as a gift to my son who was moving provinces. I love the inscriptions. They just say what's in my heart and the gift being a compass is so appropriate so he can always find his way back home.

This arrived broken. I didn't like the Cheap stickers on it and the nice box it came in was scratched up and the insude STICKER said Son and didn’t match the Grandson compass. This was disgustingly cheaply made for the price being charged.

This is a lovely collectible compass. The case is leather and very sturdy and protective. The compass surround is real brass. The lid screws on securely to protect the glass on the compass. The needle is a little wobbly so this is more for looks than survival but the direction of the arrow was correct. The print is very crisp and easy to read. The overall appearance is vintage/antique making the inspirational compass a very nice gift or even a decorative item on a console table or desk.
