Too bad it's not higher wattage. Charging on 24v is pretty slow otherwise works good. I put an SAE plug on it to use other adapters

It does the trick!. I had a battery that was flat dead. Sadly the auto selection mode will only charge at 24v in this case. I let it charge for a few minutes to put a little bit of power back in the battery then restarted the charge. It changed to 12v right away. did a fill charge and worked perfectly.

Doesn't do what it says it does, i connect it to a 12V battery and it's only reading it at 24V. No way to bypass it and change it to 12V or anything

Purchased from seller named Lehuichen, a nice 10A charger for my 12V car batteries worked fine out of the box. Comes with instructions and nice box. The large LED screen provides easy to see battery status. Built in cooling fan will add more years of use by keeping the electronics cooler. It is priced at a reasonable level in my opinion. I have two golf trollies. One with a LiFe battery and one with a lead acid battery. This charger handles both easily and automatically. The fan is making a bit of a noise after only 3 or 4 cycles but it is not affecting the charge cycles. Good Charger at a reasonable price.

Small. Compact, clamps are strong, good big clear display, I did a regular charge and a repair charge and went to 100% inamatter of a few hours, very quiet and did not heat up too much, power cord is a little short so it was used with an extension cord , small enough to fit under the hood and lower the hood without impact. Will try it out on other types of batteries as and when required.

This is what I got for my dad who does not drive his lexus too much and the battery keeps draining. THis is a good way to keep the battery from draining. It is not meant to jump the car but rather slowly charge the battery. Unfortunately the first one I got was not working. It did spark a little bit when I plugged in but it did not turn on after that. The second one I got works fine. It still has a little spark when you plug it in. It could be my outlet but just note that. Do not have the clamps on the device until after you plug it in. You are able to power the device on and off so you are not plugging a live line into the battery. The clamps work well but they are on the smaller end. You can turn the device off whenever you do not need it which is nice. It does not turn off on it's own so be aware of that. The digital screen shows how much power is going through. The device does get a little warm so do not have it covered or anything. I am not an electrician but I just would not plug this into a power strip to be on the safe side. Again this cannot jump a car but it may be able to charge the battery enough to start the car over a long period of slow charging but it is not instant. The cable is not too long so you may not have enough slack. I could actually keep this device on my engine and have it charging without any issues like it burning out. Overall this is an inexpensive device to have if you are trying to keep your battery charged when you are not using your vehicle and such. It does not fast charge so know it does take time. Regardless of that, it does a great job but it did spark a few times I plugged it in. It could be my outlet but the first one I had did not work first time. Since then though I have had no issues and it has charged well and kept my car battery alive. It stays relatively cool and the controls are easy to learn.

Used on Lead Acid 12v 6A - 880A and 24V 20A fast charging automatic. it does step down the amps at end of cycle with short float time. Full CCA after charging dead truck battery. large bright display digits cycle temp, volts, amps and total AmpHours used to charge, nice feature. Successful repair and recovery of small 12v-4A sealed lead acid after 2 days. Will not attempt to charge or Pulse repair batteries that are below threshold voltage E-1. No documentation regarding error codes 1-7. I would recommended as a budget automatic charger. Easy to use, plug it in, select bat type, connect the leads and wait until Ful displayed. Only complaint is the lack of information troubleshooting error codes.

They are cheap, the screen is very nice and easy to read (how did they do that? with LCD? LED? wow very high contrast white on black and with 180 degree viewing angel). It is also easy to operate, just plug into AC, set the mode, and connect the battery.The body, cables, and clamps feel very light and very much like very cheap plastic... plastic as in cheap toy feeling plastic. But the unit works just fine, and is very light. I bet this is very easy to carry in a bag or toolbox (I am not planning to do that).

I was looking for a charger that would handle AGM batteries, especially ones that had been sitting for a while. A nice feature is the 24V option which kicks in automatically. So if you are charging a pair of batteries for a scooter or wheelchair, you won't have to taken them apart. A nice feature of this charger is that it will power off when the battery is fully charged, but it will also turn on and off as necessary as it gets near a full charge.If you have a 12V battery that has low voltage (3-6V) the charger may not work directly. For complex reasons, you have to provide a lot more current in a battery that has been deeply discharged. So what you can do is use booster cables and connect the low battery to the good battery. (positive-to-positive, negative-to-negative) Leave them connected for a couple minutes. If your good battery is in a car, leave the car OFF.After a couple minutes, connect the charger to the low battery and set it to the *repair* mode. Let it charge for a few minutes, and then remove the booster cables. If the charger keeps going, let it run. If the charger turns off, connect the booster cables again. Usually within 5 minutes you should be able to disconnect the booster cables.I was able to recover a number of batteries this way. Let's be clear, you won't end up with a 'good as new' battery. But if you are dealing with wheelchair batteries that cost $500 for a pair, you likely will be happy to have working batteries, even if they only hold 75% of a charge. How much of a charge you get will be dependant on the age of the battery, and how long it has been discharged.If charging batteries indoors, never leave them unsupervised. Check once an hour and feel the battery to see if it is getting hot. If it gets too warm, shut off the charger, let the battery cool, and then resume it later. Once you have gotten the battery to the point where it is 'warm' and you shut off the charger, you shouldn't need booster cables again.Overall, this charger is a handy device to have in your tool bag.

I tested it out on my wife old car. The battery was drained from her remote car start unit in the car. It had not been started for over a month. First time when I hooked it up. I keep hearing a ticking noise in the relay box. Not knowing what that was. So I unhooked the negative terminal. And try to charge it that way. Ticking noise was gone. But not knowing how long it will take some the indicator show only 20%. So I decide to hook the negative terminal back on and charge it.This time when I hook everything up and then plug the power on. The car alarm started to horn at me. I then realised the ticking noise was from the relay to the horn when I first hook it up. I could of just turn off the alarm on the remote and keep the charger attached and do it's work. Anyway. I turn off the alarm with my remote and let it charged over night. And the battery is recovered from the dead. Started the car with no problem.Will try that on my motorcycle this winter and see how it goes.
