Water started leaking from under my sink's soap dispenser to the cabinet below. I put this against the sink, with a similarly sized metal washer above it, and then the dispense above that. It's been set up for about a month, and there have been no leaks. If it does wear down over time, I have a few extra from this set. I'm hoping they will last at least a few years each.
