Just hook up and plug in , then it does all the charge by itself. Also stops when battery is fully charged.Use it on my civic and MDXsmall display give you all the information you need about the charger in f process

My van at home has been sitting there for over a year and I couldn't get the battery to start, plus it's winter time and my mechanic told me to get this battery charger. I have never use this before but it's quite straight forward, just plug and play. I charge it for about an hour and the car has no problem starting it. It can even detect the temperature outside too. I like the nice, bright and big led to let you know the voltage, which type of battery, and different charging modes. Furthermore it can charge motorcycle battery, LiFePO4 battery and repair the battery. It looks like a very well made device but the unit is a big bulky for my car so I just leave it at home and take it out to maintenance my car battery when needed. Absolutely deserve my 5 stars rating.

It is a battery saver and a life saver.I purchased this with abundant of cautions for freezing Canadian winter. My old van is 10 years old and the battery in the car is over 3 years old. I had several long road trips in this winter, taking kids for skiing. I left this compact device under the floor of the van, thinking it might be useful if my van doesn't start due to the battery. And it did save my trip!! On our way home, the car didn't start with clicking sound when starting. I connected the charger to the battery and waited for around 30 min and the car started without issues!!! I felt so great that I purchased this one and had it in hand when I needed it!!

This is a very good battery charger. Charged the battery fast. Easy to use and great. I don't drive often, especially in the cold winter. The battery can die easily. It is very necessary to have one at home. Love it.

Decent size that you can leave it in the car. It charges your car in short period of time when it is out of battery. User friendly, just plug and turn the machine on.
