Our quaker parrot is a huge fan of this perch. It puts out the perfect amount of heat to keep her warm during the winter and when the a/c is set a little too cold. Depending where she stands, the perch has different temperatures, but even the warmest section doesn't come close to burning her feet. It's very safe and she enjoys it everyday. Highly recommend to any bird owner.

Is shipped to the UK without the little fitting for the power adapter that would allow it to be used in UK power sockets.

Bought for our Cockatoo that is on our covered deck for extra warmth. He uses it all winter.

Our Galah lives on the back porch, exposed to the elements. We have had a cold, long winter here, and he took to his new perch right away. It's a good size, and was easy to install. Seems like good build quality also.On cold days, my bird comes down to meet me andI notice his feet are warm, not cold like before.I know he's much happier, so that makes me happy too.

I have 1 bird. He occasionally stands on it, but on the cooler side. The perch doesn't heat up pretty hot which is good to know considering I don't want my conure to have his little feet burn off. The temperature actually surprised me. I thought that it would've been hotter. I spent a good 10-20 minutes just waiting for it to heat up until my sister touched it and said it was at it's peak temperature.I'd also say the power cord connecting it to the perch is also well insulated, but I'd recommend watching to see if your birdie nibbles on the cord.Overall the thermo perch does what it's designed to do and I would recommend it to any fellow bird owners.

I live in the Canadian prairies and the house can get cold in the winter. I bought the K&H bird warmer but my two budgies remained suspicious of it. I decided to buy the Thermo-Perch Heated Bird Perch size small and I am sure glad that I did. My two budgies use it constantly. After reading some online reports of birds falling off the perch I was worried that my little budgies could not get a grip but that has not been a problem. The size small perch is actually quite long and can easily accommodate 2 budgies. They have no issue at all with navigating the entire perch length and sitting on it without falling. The perch was easy to attach and stays warm without getting overly hot. A great addition to the cage.

Great heaters for birds! My canaries love these products. They are safe and can be on for long periods of time. My birds loved these immediately. All pet stores should carry these.

My bird was scared of the perch for a while but once he got used to it he LOVED it. Then he developed what I think are burns on his feet about 2 weeks into using. Never had foot problems before using this perch. Holding feet up. Very red/glossy patches. Unplugged and started putting ointment on feet, they got better. Not sure if too hot or the bird was just on it WAY too much. He loved it. Maybe spent too much time on it :(After feet were better I tried wrapping perch in a few layers of vet wrap and turned it on again. 2 weeks after that I noticed the red patches again. Not holding feet up yet this time but I've turned the perch off again. Its too bad it seems like the perch is causing issues because he loves it. Hate to throw it out because it was expensive but also don't want to give away and cause a problem for another bird :(

This is amazing! It keeps my cockatiel warm during the night the only reason I put 4 stars is because it's a bit hard for my bird to grip it, it's a bit slippery. I had to put some vet wrap around ut to make it easier for my bird to move on it.

Heats pretty fast, love the design, but it is made of plastic and very slippery for the birds.I have 3 birds, and only one in sitting on it, but very rarely.Wouldn’t recommend unseal you have a solution how to make it more comfortable for birds to sit in.They just slide off every time they try to sit on it
