After teaching myself to cook for a year, I started baking from scratch as well. I decided I needed to put all my recipes in one spot and I’m so glad I chose this book! I really like the how it’s organized and the quality of the book itself and the pages. The color is beautiful! I also love that it has a conversions page because your girl is not good at that. The little pocket in the back is great for me to print recipes and them put them in for safe keeping until I have time to write them in!

Plenty of space to write recipes. Many books have not enough room for ingredients and limited space for steps. This has plenty of room for both! Love that it has a table of contents! Recommended for a friend and she purchased the same one!

Love this book! Wanted a place to transcribe all of my stable recipes. This book is perfect. Lots of entry pages and even a table of content section. There's a personal journaling section with some cheesy questions like "What was the first meal you cooked, etc" I'm personally not the type of person to fill something like that out but I could see how others might find these personal questions about the owner of the book cute. I have found the act of transcribing my recipes is meditative. I also really enjoy the vintage green cover.

I gave this to my mom as part of her Christmas present and she loves it! She’s already opened it up and appreciates the personal chef questions especially. It’ll make a lovely family heirloom that I plan to keep for years to come.
