After printing 4 test pages and seeing major ink smears on the page i was just about ready to start the return process on this non-OEM cartridge for my Pantum 2500. HOWEVER, i took the cartridge out again, looked all around it, and discovered I forgot to remove the orange tab on the left side (i removed one on the right the night before). this is in addition to the big orange cover that is in place when the cartridge is shipped. After i removed all protective tabes (they are all orange), everything worked perfectly! I am so glad it now works flawlessly and is half the price of the OEM. Highly recommended!

Back in July I found a Pantum P2502W at a Goodwill. I ended up getting it for around $6. I worked, but the prints were faded/dirty. I wasn't sure if it the printer itself was shot or if it just needed a new toner cartridge. I took a chance and bought this cartridge and ended up with cheap laser printer that produces decent quality black and white prints. It worked out great for me.

The cartridge I received was different from the pictures. Mine doesn't have sockets with orange caps for toner refill and cartridge started printing black pages after about 300 pages.

You forgot to tell people that this product is awful as it dumps toner and prints black pages. Why do companies make products that don't work as designed? Why bother? Cheap Chinese JUNK, a waste of money!

Out of the well-packaged box, did the prep step to ready the cartridge for the simple install; then popped the cartridge into my printer. Perfect fit. Quality-looking plastic housing.I have had this printer for several years, and I must say, the print now is the best quality, better than the original printer cartridge, and better than all the many replacement cartridges. Sharp and dark (black) font. No smearing, easy to read, even tiny font. I will re-order so when I run low next time, I will be ready.Also, value for the performance, excellent. Was reasonable price, fast Amazon Prime delivery, and as mentioned, now that I have been printing for several months, will re-order!

Initially the printer did not recognize that a new toner cartridge had been installed-continued to indicate toner low. Had to try a few things…remove and reinstall toner a couple of times; turn printer on and off. Eventually got it to work. Printer is PANTUM 6550
