Your cart is empty.The IRT120H is a thoroughly modern looking valve head capable of some full on metal tones but it also offers much more than many other metal orientated amps on the market. Loaded with a quartet of premium hand selected TAD 6L6 loaded valves it generates 120 watts RMS of hot valve tone. Its feature packed pre amp is laid out logically and features 3 distinct channels -Clean, Rhythm and Lead. Each channel features passive 3 band EQ with push pull options for Deep, mid shift and treble shift which allows you to dial in the exact tone you are after. The master section features an overall Dynamics control which allows you to vary the interaction of the amplifier and the drivers, depending on the volume you are playing at, an overall Tone control, a Laney custom designed Digital Reverb plus a really useful WATTS feature which allows you to dial the output of the amplifier right back to a whisper without destroying your tone. This is a great feature and really useful for recording in your home studio or playing late into the night.

THIS IS A FREAKIN GEM!!! I've played 20 years and have been round and round between dozens of Rigs ...BY FAR THE BEST YET!! I also own the 1 to 15 watt IRT Studio that Laney put out for home recording'* works perfect !! But seriously, for $ 999.00, you cannot get a better sound for Progressive metal! We have our own sound ..alas the tone matches those of the greats such as *Opeth , Katatonia , Animals as leaders.. so on and so on ... the versatility of this amp INCREDIBLE!! Ive matched the Laney 120H with a Marshall 1960 cab and a Boss gt8 floor processsor for live shows and perfectly recreates, the sonic expressions of the IRT studio during home recordings ...Hell of a pair they are! Was really looking for that Killswtich engage sound, and this mixed with a few Maxon pedals, including the OD808 was awesome! Exactly what I was looking for and is aesthetically pleasing. Awesome buy!

This amp sounds terrific. I only recommend you swap the preamp tubes because the tube in the V1 does not do it justice.

Great amp. Fed ex sucks tho couldn't find my place rather they didn't even try i saw them drive by twice. They didnt even bother to knock. Now the amp why 4* because it was described to be loaded with TAD 6l6 tubes. They are ruby tubes. But aside from that it sounds great.

Looks awesome and sounds just as good. One of the best heads I've ever used hands down. Worth the money.
