I'll just come out and say I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this on my truck or not. The housing is VERY cheaply made and doesn't have much in the way of sealing except for a cheap foam gasket. The outer lens isn't made anything like the OEM one so it looks cheap installed on the vehicle. 2012 F150s had some issues with the 3rd brake light leaking from the factory, so I'm not sure I want to tempt fate with such a badly designed light. Only plus to it is that it is easily installed and is really bright. If you don't care what it looks like on the truck I suppose it would be OK, but I can't see the thin plastic taking a branch or a rock without cracking.

This Raryloy 3rd brake and cargo light is a nice upgrade that is simple to do , the hardest part is attaching the gasket that prevents water from entering the light, because the adhesive is quite sticky so you need to line it up carefully .The installation is plug and play ,remove your factory light , remove any gasket that is stuck on the truck body, clean the area so your new gasket will have a good bond.place the gasket where the old one went ,install the electrical contacts (3) into the new brake light ,Check to make sure the light is functioning before you tighten down the new light ,if all is working properlytighten the new light and you're done .The cargo light will now be much brighter than your factory lighting and more importantly your brake lightwill be much brighter then before .I really like this a lot because it gives your truck a sleek new look and provides an added measure of safety when driving or unloading your cargo bed at night .

If you know what you're doing and have a reasonable understanding of working on vehicles (shoutout to YouTube!) this will install very quickly. I knocked off a star for lack of instructions. The only real challenge I came across was getting the plug in tabs for each LED cluster to fit into the "peanut" bulb sockets. Would be nice if they were tapered more to slide in without forcing.I did not test it, but to be on the safe side, align the black wires of the LED plug to the black wires on the sockets to ensure correct polarity. The box includes a nice stick-on weather seal (apply it to the lamp, not the truck) and a pair of bolts with nuts that you should have to use to replace the original metal screws, but if you do, good luck with that. Think you would be better off replacing the nut tabs and screws from your local auto parts store that getting supremely frustrated trying not to lose the supplied nuts in the truck somewhere. Finally, be cautious in tightening it down to prevent the new lamp housing from cracking. Once you meet resistance on tightening one screw, move to the other. Keep an eye on the the way the weather seal is compressing as you alternately tighten each screw down. Ensure the weather seal is compressed firmly and evenly all the way around.Very pleased with the new brilliance the LEDs provide to the truck bed and third brake light.

Purchased for a 2012 f150 5.0 fx4. The hosing is black so figured it would look good with a black truck and the LEDS would have longer lasting bulbs. The light comes with a single row of LED lights with three pigtails, plug and play. The light output is ok and is bright enough to be seen as necessary. The light seems flimsy and cheaply made as I’m sure it is, It is not a robust build. The factory light has a channel on the back that allows the gasket to sit in and allows a flat flush mount, this one does not. The light sits off the body of the truck quite a bit. I can’t recommend this light as there are better options out there, maybe cost a little more but at least the fit and quality reflects the price. If you’re on a budget, not a bad product, just can’t attest to longevity.

shipping box damaged and opened. No packing inside shipping box, I also asked if this item came WITH a seal / gasket. And was answered yes it comes with. Well.... it did not come with one or it fell out of the opened box.

Direct replacement for the factory light. Install was easy other than the clip on my truck that wouldn't stay in place. Nice and bright. Works flawlessly
