As one of the other reviewers has noted, the bass they picture is an upside-down right-hander. Unlike Jimi Hendrix, I wasn't born with the gift to be able to play a right-handed guitar as a leftie. So I pointed out the problem with the image to William Bay at least two years ago. It's very disappointing that they still haven't corrected the problem.Also, it's quite hard to distinguish between the black diamonds they use to show the root and the solid black dots that they use to show the other notes in the chord. It would have been better had they used smaller black circles with thick borders for the latter.A good product idea poorly executed.

If you are looking for a finger chart, you’ll be disappointed. This item is useless for beginner bass players.

The title of this cardboard poster should read:Left Hand positioning for Right handed Bass Guitar players chord chart.The left hand being the fret hand in this case.It is not for left handed bass guitarists (I should know - I am left handed).Useful for Right Handers though - but as someone else here has already pointed out - a key to the round and diamond shaped dots would have been useful.

Confusing because the cover shows a right-handed bass. The diagrams do not indicate whether the strings are ordered EADG or GDAE, so a beginner lefty would not be able to make heads or tails of this. Luckily I realized eventually that the strings were ordered GDAE (lefty configuration) based on the only chord I always remember-- C major. A legend or some notes would be great, though. Mel Bay's intro country bass book is positively superb so I expected a bit better from this chart.

Lots of chords, but hard to read. There are dots (normal) and diamonds (not normal that I'm aware of) on the chord finger chart. It says the diamonds are "root or tonic", but what does that mean? I'm asking here in my review because there's no "questions" available.Does have a nice note chart on the back to help me learn to read music.Also, seems to be for right handed and not left.

Yea! really good, forgot it said; 'chart' I was expecting a booklet, and there's lots of those about.but it's an ideal reference tool, have it on a wall of a music, or bed room.
