Get the legit lumbar from Herman Miller. This is cheap rubbish which snapped after less than 3 months. I weigh 60kg.

My Classic Aeron didn't come with the lumbar support pad, but I finally became interested in it. I took a chance on this knock-off version as it was substantially cheaper than the real thing.Because I never had one before, I didn't understand how to install it at first, as there were no instructions. I knew it went along the back and could be adjusted up and down, but foolish tried to slide the pad's cylindrical grippers in between the chair's mesh and the side ridges. This led to the pad popping out every time I sat down.I felt pretty dumb when I realized that the the grippers go around the guide rail on each side of the chair, which wasn't clear in the home-made instructional video I watched. It no longer pops out, but it does tend to slowly slide up over time if you adjust your body a lot. I'm sure it doesn't help that I also prefer it closer to the top end of the rail than the bottom.Hopefully I don't run into any problems with the plastic fingers breaking like some other users have, but I'm pretty light and I don't lean back hard into the chair much. From someone who hasn't tried the OEM lumbar support pad, I think this is a solid replacement for the price. Just make sure that you get the correct size to match your chair (and that you don't have the newer Aeron), and that you install it properly around the guard rails.

I was pleasantly surprised I found the product on Amazon! The product was for a replacement part to a 24 year old chair, absolutely great! Even better, the price was a third of the cost compared to what the original company web site was offering. Delivery in a few days to top off this wonderful experience. Well done all around!

It's so pathetic, broke so fast. I had to tape the joints, but to no avail as well. Can i request for refund? Lousy product. Please don't buy.

It fit well and felt like the original but it didn't last long. It only lasted about 5 months before breaking on the part the connects to the chair

Goes it's in the rails, it will just slide up and down - does not stay stationary.Update - June 6, 2021 - It's already cracking on the rail area.

...when I finally ordered the right size it worked perfectly. I have no reason to believe that this product used on the proper size chair wouldn't be just as good. The Size C support on a size C chair is amazing and totally worth it. Look up "three dots aeron chair size" for more details - don't get the wrong one! :)
