The material is no where near as thick as is shown, called an “egg sitter” but not unless you want omelette on your pants.

Years ago I had a lower back spinal injury that kept me from being able to walk correctly. It took about a month to become mobile again with physical therapy.20 years later, i still have pain when sleeping too long, or sitting basically anywhere for more than an hour.This cushion has helped alot for my office chair. I looked everywhere for a comfortable chair and simply couldn't find anything that suited. Adding this cushion has helped keep the pain at bay much longer than any other cushion i've used or tried. I can even sit and game for a few hours without becoming uncomfortable.I would say this product has done what it needs. I'm quite thankful for it.

It was not the same as the ones from the original tv ad, so we returned them. They were smaller & not as thick.
