Loving this backing plate compared to the other more flat but more brittle versions out there. Just finished up some really gnarly paint on a 1970 Chevy C-10. Flawless and zero problems. I’m fact, I’m going to be ordering another one for my other rotary.

I swapped out the backing plate that came with my harbor freight dual action polisher. Ran it for about 16 hours polishing my 40 foot motorhome. Worked perfectly.

I’ve had this backing plate a few months now and it has started to crack a little but seems to be working just fine and the cracks are not getting any worse I use it almost every day and wouldn’t hesitate getting another one
