These insoles definitely add insulation value to your shoes or boots - making them warmer in the winter. The insoles start out about 1/4 inch (6 mm) think, but mold to your feet and compress to be a little thinner after wearing a couple of times. The "top" surface of the insole has reflective material woven in, and that probably helps too. The felt-like consistency of the insole breathes and your feet do not get too hot or sweaty. The insoles only come in three sizes - so you may need to buy a bigger size and trace your old insole and then cut the new insole with succors to fit your shoe. That was easy to do.

Just bought a few more, they are so great. Such a good deal for something that keeps my feet soooo warm. Easily trimmed to needed shape with fabric scissors.

Ordered a size 8 - too short. Why is there no measurements for a size chart. It only shows the same measurement for L W H for all sizes. Had to remove packaging in order to put in shoes to find out they were too short.Waste of money!

Loved these, very comfortable & warm. ( don’t know if they would be good to -25?) Only gets to -10 at the most here, so are great for this climate!

Added a perfect cushion inside my winter boots and keeps my feet nice and toasty. Does compress a small bit after frequent wear but not enough to make a di%erence in warmth/cushion

I don't want it to be squishy or too comfortable, because I use these to lift my right foot in my shoe due to a leg-length discrepancy. Everything else has a built up arch (don't need two arches stacked up, thanks) or squishes down, or doesn't go the length of the foot. This is the same height all the way across the foot with no added arch or heel cup molding, and that's what I needed. I can also use both, because I can flip the left one over and use it in the right shoe! I can't tell you how wasteful it feels to only use one insert out of a pack of two. And as a bonus, I live in Wisconsin so it also keeps my feet warm and dry in my boots.

pretty awesome price that makes a noticeable difference in warmth.I don't know about the "-25C" rating, as you would need proper winter boots anyway to insulate everywhere else too.

I put these into my hiking shoes for a trip that involved a lot of walking up and down hills. Didn't need something that warmed my feet that much, but found these were good for both warmth and comfort. I used them without my orthotics and did not have any problem with pain, as I normally would have if I went without the orthotics in other shoes.

Works upto -10 to 12C but I found ineffective in -25. Probably a good buy as prized.
