Won't download music.

This thing works, but that's about where it stops.Here are the problems:-This wont connect to my cars stereo via Bluetooth. Which means I need to physically the player to change songs or pause. Which is illegal to do. So unless you are loading it with podcast you are stuck listening like it was a cassette tape,-No option for the order of your music. You get the order it gives you. Usually not a big deal. But it took a lot of work to get my list in the order that I needed to hear them one after the other.-Does not play the video in the formats it says it takes. And the demo video that came with it was horrible quality. For a small screen even low quality should look half decent. This is obviously the file or the screens actual resolution.-Interface is horrible. From the font used(makes it look like technology from 1982) to the useless menus just to take up space. This is obviously not their own OS as its an exact copy of every other device like this out there. But it would be nice if someone made sense of this stuff and made a proper style that actually looked nice. I don't need a bluetooth button. That should be in settings. Everything should be on one page easily.-I can't speak for battery life and other features yet but I will update this after a bit of use.Now for some positive. Lets face it. No one got this to replace their phones. Its small, has horrible resolution and does very little compared to a phone. But this does what I need.-It has a large capacity for mp3's(64GB is pretty decent and and the ability to triple that if needed is nice)-It charges via USB C-The little speaker is great. If you are alone and no real background noise its perfect.-The radio(while not perfect) is nice. Would be better with a built in antenna. and the ability to play on the speaker would be nice.I will update this as soon as I've had a chance to use it more. But I'm guessing that with a little work. Many companies could make something that would kill this. Would I recommend this device? If you just want a simple mp3 player with little control then this could be the lighter option. If you want something that really does everything and looks good doing it. Then this is probably not what you want.

if you're looking for a reasonably priced micromusic player, this is your huckleberry.easy to use, instruction manual is a bit weak but the unit is easy to figure out.battery life is very good, on bluetooth, pluged-in, or onboard speaker.connected to all my bluetooth devices, and has a device list to force connection to a given device if others detected.sounds great! the 7 band equalizer is super handy, a few canned settings and you get 1 custom setting!comes with a rubber protective case, very durable, I have bounced it a few times and it didn't blink.buts...the instruction manual is very barebones. it's a good start but the images in the manual are as hard to see as on the unit itself, and there are helpful things you can do that are not in it. it's not comprehensive in it's scope.the FM radio needs a very strong signal to actually play the station. it found stations that are mostly static that are easily playable with another cheap FM radio I have.rescanning the FM stations overwrites the old stations, even the ones you manually tuned and added.the font size of the display is fixed, not a huge thing, but it can make reading what the screens say a bit difficult.

1. there was no protective NON-slip case provided. The device is very slippery and easy to drop especially if you are using it during physical activity and need to change music selections. Based on other reviews the black version of this does come with a case. It is more important to have a case even if it is not blue than to possibly drop the device.2. FM radio, bluetooth, calculator, stopwatch, calendar and alarm and record functions work well.3. small screen makes it cumbersome to manipulate selections if you have larger fingers.4. Bluetooth is for transmitting only to another bluetooth device, it can not receive bluetooth signals.5. Plays videos reasonably well for this type of device although would not use it for playing videos.6. USB connectivity is V2 so any large amounts data will take a long time to load if you constantly need to change the data.7. Supplied usb type A to usb type C cable is faulty and not usable, have to supply your own, probably random occurrence.8. Seems to work well on the rechargeable battery and charges reasonably quickly, requires max 5v charger.9. This player will become e-waste as the battery is not replaceable and the device is not easily repairable as with other devices that a glued together these days.10. The interface is a touch screen and the volume scale indicator on the side is not easy to see or control.

I just received these, they're stocking stuffers so I'll update after Christmas with how well they actually work. I'm just a bit put off that the black player comes with a protective cover, but the blue one doesn't. It just isn't consistent. And the blue one is for my younger child, so I wish it was the one that had come with a cover, not the black one. Just a bit disappointing.

I found it easy and intuitive to use. Plenty of space for all my music, pairs well with wireless earphones. Still learning to use the playlists, but that's the same with everything - you get out what you put in.

After doing a bit of math, I determined that if you wanted to fill the internal 64 gigs' worth of space on this little device it would approximate out to around 8000 songs or so. Provided they're at 192kbs, or Compact Disc (CD) quality (for anyone not knowing what the bit rate values mean). Learned from the manual that came with it that playlists are hard-capped at 4000 songs. So, you'll likely have to setup a multiple-folder structure if you're going to have a lot of music on it-- even more so if you add the extra 128gig from a micro SD card this device supports. I should note this device DOES have a shuffle function! For some strange reason or another many manufacturers don't include such a useful function! Also, this little fella has a built-in speaker... though it is highly advisable to run it with 3.5mm headphones or with Bluetooth speakers/headphones.In terms of configuring, it's a very simple device. It comes with a USB cable that you can plug into your PC, mobile or whatever device you have that can read the equivalent of a flash drive on. I've hooked up to it in Windows 11 and in Android, so I know at least these operating systems are supported. It's very drag-and-drop. Simple.It has a 2.4" touchscreen display, which is slightly finicky at the upper-left corner where your back button is located on-screen (could be a firmware issue versus hardware... I'm not quite sure) but it does work. Bluetooth works great (I use a 15W Bluetooth speaker with this device at work) and after 7 hours or a little longer than that I'm usually sitting at about 70% battery life... and that's at maxed volume on the device. Which, as anyone who knows a thing or two about battery usage can tell you, drains battery at a steady rate ordinarily. This device's battery alone is especially impressive to me.Technically, you CAN read e-books on it but at a mere 2.4" of screen size, I wouldn't recommend it. Plus, I believe you're restricted to .PDF format only. I could maybe see adding photos or various images for viewing if you're into that sort of thing, but I personally only use it for audio. It DOES have a FM radio tuner in it and if you have a 3.5mm cable to serve as an antenna, you can certainly pick up your local radio stations with it. Just for fun, I turned the radio on and piped it to my speakers via Bluetooth... and it worked as intended!In terms of size, if you have a pair of denim jeans with one of those "coin pockets" inside one of your pockets (usually in the right-side pocket) this will fit inside with no problem whatsoever. Portability of it is quite nice, but I suppose it could be easily lost or put through the laundry wash if you're not careful about it.Overall, I can recommend it for those folks who want something simple to play music with. It works, it has Bluetooth, it has an exceptional battery life and it doesn't disappoint. Enough said.-- Edit 2/5/2024 --While I'm thinking of it, I had a little scare with this device. I hooked this player up to my mini-pc running Microsoft Windows 11 Pro to load some more music I've ripped from personal CDs I own and stepped away for several hours. When I returned, the device appeared to be bricked -- no screen response when touched, no response of pressing or holding power button, no response pushing any individual button. I unplugged it, plugged it back into the mini-pc... nothing. I ended up holding ALL of the buttons down at the SAME TIME for several seconds and then it finally decided to turn back on. Crisis averted. Just thought I'd share just in case anyone else runs into this issue. Cheers!

I got this as a backup for my other players but I may keep this in my travel bag as a mainstay! It arrived safe and sound, packaged securely. Included it the player itself, a pretty standard set of wired headphones, a type-c charging cable and an aux cable. Everything feels well made and the player is surprisingly lightweight. It literally fits in the the palm of my hand! I was surprised it came with a video and 2 songs preloaded, a nice touch as they allow you to test the machine right out of the box. You can transfer music simply by dragging mp3s into the directory that pops up on your PC. You can even drag whole folders if you want your music organized more efficiently. The player is touchscreen enabled so you can directly interface with the options on screen. Very responsive, allowing you to make changes and test the other included apps easily. A lot is packed into this bite-sized player and the included space by default is more than worth the product price! An excellent choice for a compact player for on the go listening.
