It was cheap, like 35$.Bluetooth works but you have to retry the connection multiple times before it successfully does. Not easy going through the menus, you press back without meaning to.When you play music you press back and it doesn’t even go back to the previous song (I’m assuming it’s because shuffle is on), I’m not exactly sure if it has memory to remember the song it was recently playing when it turns off, so your starting the play list all over again. If you have repeat all on, your going to end up hearing that same song your playlist starts with every time and multiple times over an hour.Had a play list of 2-300 to try it out and I heard the same song about 6 times due to the playlists resetting or the shuffle replaying the same song. Not easy putting music on it and when you get it, it’s slow to put on the SD card.Requires an SD card to use, came with a 32GB card.

Very poor quality, stopped working in 2 months. Poor BT connectivity. Does not work at all now. A piece of junk now and a waste of money!

For the price, you can't go wrong. Works really good and you can put a lot of music on it. Easily over 400 songs.

Good for a bare bones basic mp3 player, but not great and certainly nothing special.Don't bother setting the time and date on it, because as soon as you turn it off an back on, it returns to 8:00 and the year 2022.Comes with a 32 gb card which holds thousands of mp3s. It can take a playlist in excess of 2000 songs, which some cheap mp3 players can't.It does have bluetooth, and it connects very fast with no fuss. But you can use a stereo audio jack too.The menu is a bit counter intuitive, but you can get used to it. To move up and down on the screen you have to press left and right. up and down instead take you forward and backwards.Sound quality is fine, so the encoder in it has proper programming. It will play videos too, though they're crazy small and at such a resolution it's not easy to watch them. You can store pics on it, if you want to show them off... but let's be honest other technology exists now that makes these things obsolete. It can record too, though I haven't played with that feature. It can handle a max of 128 gb card, and I have a hard time imagining ever needing a larger music collection that that, unless you're into lossless audio, and why would you buy a cheap mp3 player if you were? This is older tech, and would be more aimed at boomers (like me) who want a more familiar looking device than newer tech. It will likely become my fishing boat MP3 player, as it's cheap enough not to hurt if i lose or damage it, but plays sufficiently well for my tastes out in the boat.I might have given this a 3.5 star rating if I could, but it really doesn't warrant a 4 star, so I have to suffice with 3.

Pros:- nice sized form factor- device sits solidly in the hand- Bluetooth connectivity very handy- display is clear enough and quite legible- sound quality very sufficient- displays lyrics if you're willing to spend the time gathering .LRC files- 32 GB storage holds plenty of tunes- battery life appears to be greatCONS:- transferring files doesn't work with device plugged into computer (you have to take out the microSD card, plug into an SD adapter)- Built in clock useless as every time the player is turned off, it resets to a default time & date- control markers are a bit confusing; once you discover what buttons to press, it gets easier to navigate- earbuds that are included don't provide the audio fidelity this unit can deliver- not sure any of the preset equalizer settings improve the sound any better than the default "flat" setting- no ability to display cover art- player displays the file name rather than what the tag file shows- I'm not sure the video capabilities are sufficient in this day and age- audiobook usability is rudimentary; not suitable for serious e-book or audiobook usageOverall, the player serves the purpose we intended (gifted to a family member who's recovering from a severe stroke)I like the idea of a music player that's small, lightweight and visually appealing. The iPod-like controls work well, and the user unlikely to trigger anything without a sufficient press of the buttons (which is a real hassle with cellphone touchscreens). Not a bad little device for the price, but more demanding listeners would probably want to spend at least twice as much for a more sophisticated player.
