Organic Mung Beans Sprouting Seeds:
These organic Mung Bean sprouting seeds are used to grow delicious Chinese bean sprouts or shoot-sprouts. Chinese physicians knew about mung bean sprouts and were prescribing them for the healing of many disorders over 5,000 years ago. They should be grown in the dark to prevent bitterness.
Simple Sprouting Instructions:
✔ SOAK – Put 3-5 tbsp. seed in a wide mouth jar. Cover jar with sprouting lid. Add water, swirl, and drain. Refill jar with water and soak seeds for 4-8 hours. Drain well.
✔ RINSE – Two to four times a day, refill jar with cool water, gently swirl, and drain very well by tapping. Invert jar and prop at an angle in a sink or bowl. Mung Bean sprouts do best with lots of rinsing, and keeping them in the dark.
✔ ENJOY – Ready to eat in 2 to 5 days. Refrigerate to store. (Sprouts store best when they are fairly dry - do not store immediately after rinsing).
