You can not go wrong with this M20 adapter plate. Perfect fit, quality build and the screws really secure the plate to the speaker.

This is a very sturdy piece of steel. You can use this "Top Hat" to replace the 1 3/8" smooth socket you get with most subs. This is threaded - most are not. When they are not threaded then the pole that fits into this socket actually has too much play in it. Extend the pole up about 3 feet and put a PA cab on top of it and it makes the Leaning Tower Of Pisa look straight. The pole will flop all over the place and the speaker atop it will be all askew and look really stupid, like its about to fall over. Inserting this speaker pole mount allows you to use a threaded pole that screws into it so it doesn't wobble. Now, this mount DOES NOT WORK with the stock ElectroVoice ZXA1Sub, which has a THREE-HOLE mount with a smaller outer diameter than this one. The EV Sub's hole is recessed so this doesn't fit into it, but luckily it fits OVER it. You'll need to drill new holes and by bolts and T-Nuts. I wouldn't use the wood screws that this mount comes with - they may tear out of the wood if the PA Cab atop the pole is jossled. It was regardless very easy to install and all the screws and t-nuts are available at your local hardware store for under $10. Works like a charm. I will buy more of these! Good product, good price and fast shipping!-UPDATE: I gigged with these last weekend and they are as solid as a rock! I'm happier than a clam at high tide! One more thing, as an afterthought, you probably want to protect the thread on the poles that fit into these sockets. Again, take a pole to your local hardware store and buy some rubber "feet" - the kind they put on the bottom of metal tube chairs and such. The Ace Hardware part#/SKU is 51245 - it is a solid white rubber "foot". I paid $2.49 for a pack of four. I drilled a hole through mine and put a cord through it and attached it to the pole so that when I remove them from the pole they're still tied to the pole and don't get lost. You don't want those threads to get damaged, or even dirty, while transporting and storing them.-G
