Nice sketch books. These are well made and have an excellent front and back cover that feels very durable. These are great for the travelling artist. Often my sketch pad covers get mangled and roughed up from travel. So far these have not, and are holding up far better than others I have used. The paper is good, it's thick and heavy and strong. Mostly I only use pencils and charcoal but I have also used markers and the paper took the ink well without bleeding through too bad. Overall great sketch pads for the price in my opinion.

Ordered this 2-pack of spiral-bound artist sketch books from the PRIME VINYL store to scratch an itch I was having to start sketching again. I used to be quite decent at creating facsimiles of buildings and people and other things within my general environment. I am also a portrait and street photographer, which in some ways is actually more difficult despite what you might think.These paper pads are each 100 pages, and each pad is 9x12 just as indicated in the advertising. There are many reasons to love these sketch pads. They are both coiled and well-balanced and the paper stock feels nice on the hands while sketching, and the paper stock weight is 68 LB/100GSM so you can be sure it will handle the pressure of any pencil or graphite you can throw at it.Overall, these are a compelling choice for large, wide sketching, and gives you lots of space to breathe and be creative on the page. 5 stars, will order again.

Lots of pages, big sketchbooks. I plan to try them by doing some detailed illustrations but for now, I'm kinda enjoying just doing marker/pen doodles. Seems to be a fine quality product, but I haven't gone too in depth into them yet.

These sketchbooks are thick, with decent-quality paper that’s great for dry media like pencils, charcoal, and crayons. Each page is easy to remove thanks to the perforated edges, which is a huge plus if you like to frame or share your work. The spiral binding makes it easy to flip through and keeps everything flat while you work.That said, this isn’t the best for wet media like watercolors since the paper isn’t designed to handle too much moisture. If you’re looking for something more versatile, this brand does offer sketchbooks better suited for wet and dry media.The covers could be sturdier, especially if you plan on carrying them around a lot. These sketchbooks are excellent quality. The paper has just the right amount of tooth for use with pencils and charcoal, and the paper is sturdy enough to hold lightweight collage as well. I'm very satisfied with these, and at $23.99 for two 100-sheet sketchbooks, the price is definitely right.
