The 7 strips of 6 frames format makes sense, it means you can always fit a roll to just one sheet. I think these work quite well, I only have a couple issues: first, I could not find any pen that was able to write in the notes area without smearing, so I had to cover everything I wrote with tape. When I used anything thicker than a 0.1mm tip pen, the ink would smear as I pressed down the tape. Secondly, the area with the holes punched feels very thin and flimsy. I have not had mine in a binder very long, but they do not seem like they will hold up very long. Would be nice to have the holes reinforced for longer life. Overall though, these are pretty good for what they do.
